The cooler comes with the fans disconnected anyway. You can put LL series fans on instead. Since you're putting a 120 LL on the back, getting a three pack will also get you an additional LED hub...

Considering a custom rgb lit gpu backplate from v1.

Anyone have any experience with them, or the magnet mounted back plates in general? V1 has backplates that look to work with icue, so i figured...

I've been asking very similar things over the past week or two, and this is what i've gathered.

First, the air coming into the case from the front intake rad would have almost no impact on ambient...

Question for you, since this looks very similar to how im planning my loop.

Looks like yours goes res/pump -> gpu -> top rad -> cpu -> front rad -> res.

First, is that top rad a 240 or 280, and...

Thank you so much.

Yeah when i look at that rear exhaust, even a slim rad would start pressing stuff against the board components. It's not too cluttered atm with the top 280. Would there be...

Connect the rgb hub to the LED channel on the copro, download iCUE, good to go.

The LED hub should definitely come with a small cable to connect the hub to the CoPro.

You need to have the rgb...

Thanks. Build is in my 500D RGB SE, so top 360 isn't a thing. I feel like with the GPU and CPU on liquid, the ambient temp compared to outside environment would be a pretty negligible difference...

Custom loop questions

So, i sort of understand that the gains i'd get from a custom loop would be minimal, but i think it would be fun and it looks cool. That said, i want to make sure this kind of setup would make...

Finished my build. Had to go in and re-route some stuff and deal with better cable management since I wasn't satisfied how it looked before. Added a single thermistor and zip tied it to the lower...

It's fine. I made it work. I just used a port closer to the top of the PSU which gave me the extra space I needed (Yes, I made sure the ports were for 12v cpu cables first).

The real question is...

Corsair cpu cables in a different psu?

So, i have a seasonic prime ultra titanium 850w.

The problem with this psu is that the cpu cables are only 650mm, which is barely enough to stretch across the backplate of a 500D to the psu on the...

Right now the options for a gpu aio with a 120mm rad for rear exhaust are pretty limited for a 2080 rtx anyway.
