I too also have the issue of my Scimitar not showing up in CUE after the patch today. Pc restarts, Re installation of CUE, USB port changes have all been tried and the problem still occurs. The scimitar device eventually shows up in the Settings>Device section of CUE with the Status:Malfunction.
