  1. I'm sure other people on here have used this coolant. Surely I'm not the only one whose "clear" coolant is basically an opaque white with lots of foam and little bubbles when my pump is at a relative high speed right? Why is that? EK CryoFuel doesn't do this.
  2. They are just stating that there is ventilation at the rear of the hard drive cage so that warm air can passively ventilate out of it and not just stay trapped. AFAIK from seeing all the reviews there wasn't an option for fan mounted cooling, you will probably have to get creative on your own for it.

Choked off front intake also. No commander pro, costs same as 500D RGB SE. No front 140mm fan support either for more than 2 fans. Most likely supports 3 top 120 mm fans but with a 570X fan tray. Yet again no option to just get the case without fans. It just bothers me how little corsair puts into developing products and then just marks them up outrageously. They basically are riding on "sunk costs" of buying into their ecosystem. One other thing that I find -really- odd is the inclusion of the SP120 rear fan. Like, why? It isn't even plugged into the node pro and it can't be either because as far as I know you can only have one fan type per lighting hub. It really makes you think...are they sitting on tons of those garbage fans? Why not just include another LL120 or LL140? Very annoying.
  4. So I was doing some reading and found an alternate 'trick', one thing you could try on your setup is to set the BCLK and Strap both back to 100 and then set the target DRAM Frequency to DDR4 3200. The reading I came across had some weird suggestion that 3000 works better with 125 whereas 3200 actually works better with 100. Not sure why but this works for me, I simply cannot boot with 3000 mhz ram at anything besides 125 strap but 100 strap + 3200 mhz works fine. I did increase my DRAM voltage to 1.38 or 1.39 I believe, and upped my system agent voltage a bit as I got a BSOD shortly after booting into windows, but now it appears stable. An alternate to this alternate might be returning the 3000 mhz ram and getting 3200 mhz and seeing if the XMP profile applies 100 bclk/strap natively. I'm already outside the return window for my RAM and do not feel like reselling at this point just to waste more time. Saves me from having to 'upgrade' to X299. Hope this helps.
  5. Can a Corsair employee comment on this? Can they fix their drivers?
  6. Yes I experience this EXACT same thing. Honestly it looks like we are SOL. Very sad and disappointing. I may just have to return and get GSkill Trident Z or something. Not as fancy but at least I can more likely control the damn ram. I honestly don't want to give up quad channel; it has pretty good performance gains over dual.
  7. Specs: i7 5960X ASUS X99 Deluxe II SPD Write is enabled when XMP is enabled BIOS: 1802 (latest version that is not marked as a beta bios on asus website)
  8. Come on man it's literally the last statement in my OP
  9. Hello? Is anyone out there? Can this crap work as advertised or am I just going to have to send it back???
  10. The 570X front fan tray works just fine to fit 3 120 fans in the top of the 500D, confirmed by me.
  11. SPD Write is enabled. RAM shows in iCancer fine when the RAM does not have XMP set in BIOS. I've tried to disable XMP and just let the BLCK and "target memory speed" setting do the trick (as it picks up the timings automatically) but that doesn't help either. Any advice? Mobo is X99 Deluxe II.
  12. They probably don't move very many of the 500D so i wouldn't expect to get a slotless state side for -quite- some time.
  13. Yeah the 500d is not really that great. You can fit 3 120 fans up top. I bought an extra front fan bracket and installed it. I just don't know how it would work out with a radiator.
  14. That's actually super annoying. Why is Corsair so cheap and lazy with all of their products? The 570X actually does not have slotting because it appears that chassis was original but the 500D which was adapter from that, seems to have it, on both the non SE and SE version. Makes you wonder if the 500D was originally going to just have regular side panels before they decided to switch it up with a hinging "door".
