  1. I have a corsair AIO and ive just created a custom fan curve, its really not that hard, the default ones have other variables and triggers you cant control. I have the white SE aio and those fans can go higher than 2400rpm on "performance mode" so those would be turbines. Just create a custom profile and you will be able to adjust the curve. The default presets and conditions may not be the same for all users based on their system, environment, etc. http://prntscr.com/o8avnu
  2. Hi OP, ive sent you a dm as well, but do you have any images of the placement of your commander pro in that case? if you do that would be greatly appreciated
  3. Oh yea, btw I had your dilemma of choosing ROG z390i or MSI Z390m and I ultimately went with the Z390I as the integrated I/O shield, as well as bigger heatsink for the VRMs would do better. The MSI z390m however, has a more cable management friendly layout. As I have the 280x case as well, its a flat usb 3.0 cable so having the z390m right angle mount would have been easier than a bottom/normal mount usb 3.0 header. The M-ATX has 4 ram slots keep in mind whereas Itx has only 2 The z390m also doesnt come with heatspreaders for the M.2 drives whereas the z390i does. That will be another deciding factor in your build. As you mentioned you are using corsair rgb ram, Msi mystic light will support the ram whereas Asus Aura sync does not support corsair rgb ram (unless you are using the vengeance rgb non pro)
  4. would be better to intake from front so airflow through the case would be better as opposed to intake on the top. Also depending on motherboard the 280mm AIO would be a tight fit.
  5. the remove and replace option is only if a key wasnt aligned on the switch right which caused the switch to not depress in straight, rather go in on an angle lol. in your vid you are also pushing the key on the bottom harder than the one on the top as well
  6. 90% of the time its the user not doing something right like unplugging during a firmware update or their computer had a program hang. As DevBiker said, restart the services via services.msc, even restart the computer if that doesnt work and worst case reinstall, update icue and check software versions
  7. for the keys affected have you tried taking the keys off and putting it back on again? there should be a included keycap puller and spare moba/fps key that shipped with keyboard. Advanced RMA (for them to send product first) will require a deposit that they will refund upon receiving the defective merchandise. Standard RMA will leave you without a kb till you get a new one. If you are able to make a video it might be a bigger help to diagnose as well.
  8. Are you able to replace the fan to see if the sound persists? (jayz2cents had a deconstruct video of the corsair one for reference if needed)
  9. Just do an advanced RMA if you want them to send it, or try to fix the problem on your end if possible. sometimes its just a jammed spring that couldve gotten like that in packaging/transit etc.
  10. i have the k70 rgb mk2 SE rn as I am typing this post and i havent noticed any ping unless you count one small spring sound on a numpad key in which i fixed by removing key and placing it back on and never heard it again
  11. so true. some keyboards certain keys have some spring issues. i have taken keys off and replaced with the provided key replacer and sometimes that fixes it.
  12. you have to set windows to sleep on timer if so, i have same scenario for mine for when i sleep/go afk my system itself sleeps and doing so stops power to the peripherals and the lights turn off. There is no setting/software option to turn off rgb on timer at this time
  13. Could be a fan bearing but doesnt seem like it, another issue could be something loose causing the internals to rattle. Sounds like a faulty pump with damaged bearings based on my past encounter with other brands Also check if there are air bubbles in the tubing by tilting it on its side for a bit then back upright
  14. They ship as shown (from my experience). I would contact your local retailer first to see if they have. i also found this old thread in reddit regarding UK keycap changes ( )
