Jamil090 Posted February 7, 2019 Share Posted February 7, 2019 Is there a way to link an iCue profile to a program while it's open, not only while in focus? I tend to link my custom profiles to games I play but find myself alt-tabbing a lot to change music, arrange discord etc. When I alt-tab the profile switches to default briefly and then back when I re-focus the game. Is there a way to create a linked profile that will stay activated so long as the program is open, not only focused? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
c-attack Posted February 7, 2019 Share Posted February 7, 2019 Not that I am aware. It is also why I have stopped using the linked program function for most games. Your situation is pretty common. I think the best solution is create a short profile loop using the iCUE software. You can link your preferred desktop profile plus any number of games to a rotating list, then select a key to cycle through them. Obviously, the fewer the number of profile in the list, the more expedient the process, but you could effectively make a desktop -> Game 1 -> Game 2 loop that will change if needed with a key press or stay still otherwise.
