Hello Segasage,

 

I don't believe there should be any fitment issue with the H150i Pro in the front of the 780T using the three 120mm fan mounts, but you would need to remove the HDD bays in order to use it this way.

You should be able to fit in the top as well and others have. There might be some needed massaging in certain areas, but I don't have the case to comment further. See the threads below with some lateral information.

Great info! One quick note about top fitment though. If you have anything in the ODD bays or are going for a push/pull set up there could be interference with other parts. Due to the extra width added by a push/pull set up, it's possible that it could interfere with DRAM or VRM heatsinks depending on their height and location. This is really dependent on motherboard, though.

I have the 780T and also the H150i and it fits perfectly in my case.

 

- I'm using a push/pull configuration.

- There are 2 ODD bays available for the 780T and this will take up one ODD bay, so you will only be able to use one which is the bottom one.

- I have it installed at the top.

- I tried installing it at the front and I was successful in that. However, The 780T's airflow states that air should be coming in from the front and out the top.

- My temperatures increased when I installed it at the front so I installed it back at the top and the temperatures are back to normal.

- You don't need a push/pull configuration. 3 fans will do, with my push/pull configuration I'm reducing the temperatures by 2 degrees Celsius.
