R3APER
Just thought id post a few pics of my current build with the 4 way sli board and the 800d, it did require droping the zone peice a few mm but it fits, so im happy. There is currently only a 9800gt which looks very sillly, just waiting for her fermi friends to come join the party. http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t44/dagrim_2007/3-1.jpg http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t44/dagrim_2007/6.jpg http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t44/dagrim_2007/4-1.jpg http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t44/dagrim_2007/2-2.jpg http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t44/dagrim_2007/5.jpg
MJinZ
Yay, how did you drop the bottom piece and still have the PSU fit?
wgb
Looks like he did not replace the pop rivets in the front after removing the bottom hard drive cage. Looks Good!
Yellowbeard
VERY cool post! I had thought this board could be used with our case with a bit if ingenuity. Do you plan to use a GPU in the bottom slot?
wgb
You can see the rear rivet holes in the first picture. Must have dropped the entire tray to make it fit. Looks Good!
R3APER
VERY cool post! I had thought this board could be used with our case with a bit if ingenuity. Do you plan to use a GPU in the bottom slot? i checked the net to see if it had been done but found nothing ,but as i really like the case i took a punt, it was really only a few mm out from fitting without dropping the divider. it would be possible to get a 4th gpu in there but it would require dropping the divider a bit more. If a 480 4way classy edition is released by evga ill do it for sure.

AlphaTech
JUST FYI on main-board and that case! I had the same case and MB. Do to how the slots are setup on the EVGA CL 4way.. If you try and put 4 cards into that setup your not going to be able to with that case setup. If you look at the lower slots they don't have any-room to live. If you do only 3 cards your not going to have any room for an sound card or anything. I had the same setup with my EVGA CL, that is up for sale right now. I picked up the Asus PT67 WS SuperComputer with 7 PCIE slots. Asus is very smart, they moved the X58 down to the lower right bottom of the board to keep the slots lined up with the case. I am not sure if you going to be doing a 4 way or 3 way SLI but just giving you heads up. saer.
Can anyone provide a step by step process on how to do this ? Would love to pick one up for my 4-Way sli water cooled setup.
FlawlessSoul
For a four-way SLI in the 700/800D, you're going to need to do a LOT more than just drop the seperating plate. You'll need to mod it for extra radiator(s) as well, unless you plan to mount them externally. Do a quick search on this forum. Also, why would you want that board for two dual-GPU cards?
