Upgrade gtx 1080 ?

This question is to simple. So the answer can be yes and no and both are correct.

I use two GTX980 non TI in sli, too. My Screens (3) are 1080p@144Hz with a G-Sync module. My memory doesn't hit the 4GB and power is enough for playing Warthunder, Borderlands (since 2), CS:GO and Witcher III: Wild Hunt.

So as long nobody know, which screens you use and what you play, nobody can't answer your question.

Forget it.

No, keep them. Consider later when you go beyond 1080 screen.

only 4k game play and VR needs 10 series gpu.

I would highly buy the 1080ti version... and in retrospect a single 1080ti might as well replace your two gtx980.

But of course unless you have an 4k monitor (or VR gaming)... then your 980 can last for another year... until codename Volta (debatable).
