jinomz
will the new vengeance 2x4 GB module work on a intel x48 chipset-based motherboard? i have a foxconn blackops and i've also tried asking the "ram guy" for compability on this mobo but it tells me to use 4x2 GB XMS3 module, i prefer 2x4 GB module if its possible. Wired
Will your board recognize 4 GB modules?
jinomz
the specs sez Dual channel DDR3 1600/1333/1066800/667 x 4 DIMMs, Max. 8GB. i'm not sure if its max 8gb module or max 8gb full slot. i tried posting on the foxconn support forum but no answers yet
Wired
It's always max total memory / slot = max slot size. Your motherboard can't handle more than 2 GB per slot.
