I'm also using Corsair Vengence 3000Mhz Ram on my z170 pro gaming. I never had problems with the pc not booting up. But if I enable XMP it sets my Vccsa and Vccio voltage to some crazy high values (both of them around 1.3V). Most ppls run their 3000mhz ram on 1.10V or less on SA/IO. Why is the voltage so high? A lot of OC guides recommend not to go higher than 1.25V.
If I dont use XMP but manual ram settings, what values I have to set?
