  1. This happens to me with my 9700, I should close icue completely to restore to normal clocks... Send a ticket that took 15 days to answer and they want to RMA my pieces but I think is the software not the hardware...
  2. Have you checked the subreddit of AMD? I've read that iCue has a plenty of problems with AMD platform. The best solution is to save to hardware the basic profiles (if your peripherals allows it) and close iCue.
  3. Unfortunately icue is bloatware, in my case I have an aio watercooler and a keyboard, when icue is running even in background, it puts all the cores in my 9700 at full speed, even in idle. In icue you may control the motherboard lighting too. Your gskill ram should be control through aura sync or the gskill software. The only trouble with the latest two is the lighting server, that if you have effects activated such as rainbow or breathing, the service uses a lot of CPU resources. But if you leave an static color the CPU usage just desappear.
  4. It seems they stopped uploading changelogs... I use it for AIO fan profiles and the keyboard, also I have Logitech (hotas config) and Steelseries engine background services and none of them causing this stress to my CPU.
  5. Indeed, now that I uninstalled icue and have a static color in aura my clock speed just get down... Still figuring out how to work with corsair icue without the high clock speed in my CPU tax...
  6. I have a 9700, in the manager it shows maximum 5%, but all my cores are running at top, even when idle and no icue interface open. I was worry about cause power consuption (yes I am that kind of person) and begin to close software and when I reach iCue, all my cores clock went to minimum, of course power consuption too. I have this similar problem with the lighting service in Asus Aura Sync that if you choose for a effect that service will go nuts with your CPU, now I just use it with static color.
  7. The same here, when shutdown windows, that message appears, also iCue... pretty odd
  8. I was checking why my cores where always so high even on idle, and my surprise, even icue is not using resources, it keeps my cores at full speed always, just closed and all my clocks went down. Perhaps is the same problem with the lightingservice.exe of asus, where the lighting efects in the mobo, while effects you have, more resources will use?
  9. Hi! I have the same issue, the only difference is that I use apps or plays from other drives, and then the same issue happens. Did you manage to fix it? Thank you for any answer.
