So, I received everything today, this is what comes in the packages. In the 3 pack QX120mm fan starter kit, you get a 600mm cable with straight end connectors on each side and a link box In the pack of 1 QX120 fan, you just get the fan. In the H150 ICUE Link package, you get a short 100mm cable to connect the fans to the pump, a 600mm cable with one straight end and one 90 degree connector as well as a link box. Most likely to tidy up my build, I'll need to wait until the additional shorter cables are available with 90 degree connectors. I'll also need an additional cable for my solo QX120 fan for the rear exhaust, for right now, is just a paperweight.

I bought 2x 3 pack starter kits of the QX120s, the 360 AIO, and 1 single QX120. So, 10 total fans are going in this 5000X. You're forgetting, you can also run three fans on the back/side of the case. 3 in the front as intake for the AIO 3 on the side/back as intake 3 on the top as exhaust 1 rear as exhaust I also saw on Jayztwocents, that if you run the AIO pump on a circuit with other devices, you may get a low voltage warning, and he recommended you run the AIO pump on its own. So, thats interesting.

Yes, but the most I'll be able to chain is the set of three side fans, since the AIO pump and three radiator fans is 4 devices. The top three fans, and rear fan will need to be on their own circuit. I am curious if all of the kits will come with enough cables to accomplish this without additional purchases.
-
So the above would need the following setup: If my asumption is correct, Parts 1 and 2 will need to connect together (short cable I'd assume) by a cable and then have another cable (longer cable) heading into the ICUE Link box 3 and 4, will also need to connect (short cable), and head into the ICUE Link box (long cable) on their own circuit.
-
so essentially, it sounds like my new setup will not be usable right out of the box, itll require the purchase of additional cables. Because my setup will be as follows: H150I 360 AIO with 3x120 fans (4 devices) in the front 3x QX 120 fans on the side (3 devices) 3x QX 120 fans on top (3 devices) 1x QX 120 fan in the rear (1 device)

So being the corsair fan I am, I immediately jumped on the ICUE Link release and decided to convert my setup. Let me know if this is enough to accomplish the following in a 5000X Case: 3x 120mm fans on the side 3x 120mm fans on the top 360 AIO with 3x 120mm fans 1x 120mm fan on the rear I had purchased the following: 2x 3 120mm fan kits H150i 360 ICUE Link AIO 1x 120mm Fan extension kit Will I need any additional connect boxes or cables, or should what comes in these boxes be sufficient?

Darkstar mouse does not show up in ICUE 5.2.128
Process replied to Process's topic in Gaming Peripherals
I resolved it, corsair released the darkstar before 5.3 was available. -
Darkstar mouse does not show up in ICUE 5.2.128 The mouse works when you plug in the slipstream device but does not show up in icue. So, essentially you cannot modify any of its settings.

Got a new Virtuoso XT connecting it to two different windows 11 PC's. Latest drivers, latest icue, even did a firmware revert that Corsair customer service sent me to try out. About 1 out of every 10 reboots, the Virtuoso XT will connect at a high audio quality, every other time its 2 channel 24 bit and cuts out every few seconds. Still in the return period, Corsair said, you may get a refurb instead of a brand new unit, advanced return basically makes you buy the item a second time, and then they do a refund. Not customer friendly. Moral of the story, buy from a store or amazon, not Corsair directly. Both of my PC's have every component possible to be corsair, this type of customer service is making me re-think and switching to a different peripheral brand.

Commander Core RGB Slot 6 Issue with 3 different units
Process replied to Process's topic in iCUE Software
icue settings were never changed, all fans initially worked. Even if just 1 fan is plugged into port 6, it won't work. On 3 different units -

then why do the fans that "do" work with it are not working on port 6 for three different units brand new out of the box? -
Commander Core RGB Slot 6 Issue with 3 different units

Corsair tech support line says otherwise, as there was a firmware release in January 2021 that allows all Corsair RGB fans to work on the commander core, they state it is no problem using a commander core with the supplied fans and LL fans. Perhaps you need to a little more up to date with corsair offerings? It also worked perfectly fine for 5 months, and is still working fine for the other 2 LL fans on the commander core in slots 4 and 5. Your response is not an explanation for the issue. Also I've plugged in the included fans that came with the H150i Elite Cappelix into RGB port 6 on both brand new commander core units and both were duds out of the box? Whats your explanation? -
Ok, so cliff notes: Commander Core RGB Slot 6 is faulty with three different commander core units and have tried it with over 10 different Corsair RGB fans. The story: I got a Corsair H150i Elite Capellix as a gift in December 2020. I installed it in my case, and hooked up the three fans that came with it to the radiator, as well as 2x LL140's and 1x LL 120 for my case exhaust fans. It worked perfectly fine until April 2021. The RGB on Fan #6 (the rear exhaust LL120) would flicker, and then eventually go out. So, I swapped fans, nothing. I moved the fan to another RGB slot on the commander core, and it lit up. I did this through various other corsair RGB fans I had laying around, same issue. I didn't have a receipt for it, since it was a gift, and corsair wouldn't RMA me a new commander core initially, so I decided I'd just re-purpose the cooler for a different build and go buy another unit. Wouldn't you know it, Commander Core #2, also wouldn't work in RGB Port #6, did the same trouble shooting. I immediately returned the second H150i Elite Capellix, and got another one. Guess what... RGB Port #6 also doesn't work on commander core #3. I was also at the time building a new AMD 5950x system, so I moved this water cooler over to that system... same result. So now, 3 different commander cores and 2 different systems, and 10 different corsair RGB fans, RGB port #6 does not work, running latest versions of iCue, and forcing firmware updates etc. Corsair finally decided to send me another commander core for me to try after being on the phone with them for an hour. What gives, am I just unlucky or am I perhaps missing something? System Specs: System 1: Asus Z490 ROG with Intel i9 10850k System 2: Aorus Master X570 with AMD Ryzen 9 5950x
