  1. I currently use an air 740 for my FX 9590 build, and I'm planning to upgrade to zen2 when it releases in July. I have my sights set on the 3900x and the MSI x570 Creation motherboard. The only issue is that it's EATX. I know you say on your product page that EATX isn't supported, however.. https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/corsair-carbide-air-740-atx-cube-mid-tower-case,4755.html In this review by Tom's Hardware, they are using a Rampage V motherboard which is EATX and they say the following: So...would the x570 Creation fit in the case properly, or would it not? If it would, is there any problems I would face? And if I don't have the fourth column of standoffs, is there anything I'd have to do? Since we don't have the exact size (I assume it's the same as most others), we'll just use the x399 creation numbers. So let's say the x570 creation has a size of: 12 in. x 10.7 in. (30.4 cm x 27.2 cm) Thanks.
  2. Sure, no problem. I have PM'd you the email.
  3. May I just ask...I placed the order but once again I'm confused. Because in my paypal £304 has come out of my account, pending authorisation. BUT..when I clicked 'place order' on the checkout, I went through all the steps and it put me back on the checkout page saying there was an error with payment details. So has the order been placed or has it not been placed? I have an email from Paypal saying an order has been placed, but the Corsair checkout error is basically saying that it hasn't. Usually when I purchase an item online it sends me to a page saying my order has been placed and I can print something out. But this time it didn't because of the error. I hope that if it is an error you can help me out here because I don't want £300 down the drain. I had all the details right. It said where to ship it to, it had the grand total and I paid through paypal but returned an error, so I'm not sure what I did wrong if I did anything wrong. I can provide you with the email from Paypal if necessary. I'm not clicking place order again until this thing is resolved because I could end up paying twice which would be ludicrous. Thanks.
  4. Yeah it's a code, I think it was for signing up for something, can't remember what. Got sent it through email and it does work so.. And thankyou for clearing that up. :)
  5. I went to the checkout to buy the contrast 3466 2x16gb memory, named CMD32GX4M2C3466C16W. I have a 20% off code and I'm buying from the UK. At the checkout it said with 20% off that the grand total was £299. No issues there. But below that it said 'Your order includes £50.00 tax'. Does that mean that the actual grand total is £349 or am I still paying £299 here? It's very confusing so I haven't bought it yet in case I end up paying £349 instead of £299. Not sure if this was the right place to ask this but it seems the closest place. Thanks.
  6. This is probably the wrong place to ask this but.. I'm gonna buy the ram and it says the grand total is £299, but below that it says 'Your order includes £50.00 tax'. Does that mean it's £349 or £299 total? I'm confused because I'm not used to it saying that in the UK.
  7. Sorry, must have been very tired haha. https://www.corsair.com/uk/en/Categories/Products/Memory/dominator-rgb-config/p/CMT32GX4M2C3466C16
  8. How about these? You know any info on this kit? Interested to know if this one is guaranteed samsung as it's around £250 with the 20% off so that saves me a bit of money. It doesn't seem to have any specs or anything on there so..
  9. Given it says that it is compatible with Intel but says nothing about AMD, do you think it'll be okay for Ryzen or? Or should I not read anything into the compatibility thing?
  10. You think I'd be okay buying the contrast 3466 cl16 ones then even if they were Hynix or Micron for Ryzen? I know Ryzen can be very picky so that's why I was asking this really. Also, the contrast memory page says it is Samsung (I should have seen that earlier). Surely they wouldn't lie about that would they, or be lazy enough not to update it?
  11. This B Die finder page suggests that this special edition kit is guaranteed B Die. The reason I'm asking is because I'm planning to get a corsair high speed kit for the upcoming Zen2 cpu's. I assume they'll improve the memory compatibility for 3rd gen, so 3466 should be fairly safe given it's Samsung. https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Memory/DOMINATOR%C2%AE-PLATINUM-Special-Edition-CONTRAST-32GB-%282x16GB%29-DDR4-3466-%28PC4-27700%29-C16-Desktop-Memory/p/CMD32GX4M2C3466C16W#tab-overview https://benzhaomin.github.io/bdiefinder/ Can anyone confirm this is GUARANTEED Samsung? And if not, I have the following question: are there any kits that are guaranteed Samsung on Corsair that are either 3200 cl14/3466 cl16 AND (Most importantly) don't cost an arm and a leg. I know there's dominator platinum rgb's there that cost 500 and pretty much look like they'll be Samsung. I'm not willing to pay £500 for 2x16gb of ram. I have 20% off ram, so that price for the contrast memory is just under 300, so I can just about live with paying that. I'd ideally want under 250 but 300 is okay. And also, the torque special edition 3200 cl14 2x16gb kit...are they guaranteed samsung or not? Basically I'm looking for 3200 cl14 or 3466 cl16 that don't cost me my house but also are guaranteed Samsung B Die (Just for peace of mind really) Thanks.
