  1. I have the cooler listed above. Looking at it, it's running iCUE v3.38.88. I see a new v4.xx.yy available for download...but there's a catch: v4 is apparently for "new" products, not "legacy" products. I cannot tell whether or not my H115i RGB PRO XT is considered "legacy". What is the latest iCUE version I should be running? Is there a list for legacy vs new products? I cannot find a dedicated product support page for the H115i... Such a dedicate page should link me to the latest software. But, again, I cannot find any support page for that product. Thanks, Ken
  2. This guide has shown me all sorts of iCUE items I didn't know existed or couldn't figure out how to access. Thank you!!!
  3. Okay, I downloaded this: https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/17588/windows-fix-problems-that-block-programs-being-installed-or-removed It's a Microsoft tool that should help in my situation. Amazingly, it did! I ran it, and it took some time. (Running an AMD 3700x with stuff. ;) ) Anyway, afterwards, I ran the v3.34.140 installer. It hung at ~74% with a window message "Installer not responding" (or "stopped working"?): "Cancel" or "Retry" were the options. I hit "retry" and the installer finished. It should not be this difficult...
  4. Hmm...Good idea. I've got nothing to lose (at this point). Off to try...
  5. WTF. This is the software that refuses to die. Despite deleting every trace of iCUE, my Settings/Apps/Uninstall STILL shows iCUE 3.27.68. Yet, whenever I try to uninstall, I get a "The specified account already exists" and it stops uninstalling. I've deleted EVERY Corsair folder in Program Files (x86), %appdata%, %localappdata$, regedit both local machine and current user. I have NO clue how there's even an uninstall option in my settings for 3.27.68. In frustration, I tried to install v3.34.170 OVER my ghost 3.27.68, but I get the same "the specified account already exists" and it stops the install. Grrrr.
  6. Thanks. Cross-posted. I just rebooted into Safe Mode and was able to delete it. (That makes me think you're right about some orphaned services.) Regards, Ken
  7. Folks, I'm trying to completely uninstall all Corsair iCUE software and do a clean install of the latest 3.34.170. But... Following the FAQ, here: https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025166712-Perform-a-clean-reinstallation-of-the-Corsair-Utility-Engine-iCUE- There are several problems not covered. 1. The Control Panel does NOT allow me to uninstall. It hangs at 13%. I've tried it several times with different settings (iCue open, closed in the task manager, etc.) 2. After following the rest of the faq, I have the following files left over and my Win10 refuses to let me delete any of them. Here they are (see header for location): Crap. I cannot upload a file??? C"mon. Fine: Program Files(x86)/Corsair/Corsair Utility Engine/ 1. CorsairLLAccess64.sys 2. CorsairLLAccessLib32.dll 3. CueLLAccessService 4. Qt5Core.dll 5. Qt5Network.dll 6. Qt5RemoteObjects.dll Nothing I can do will delete any of the above 6 files. Any ideas? Thanks.
  8. THANK YOU! This has solved the constant errors on shutdown. (I had only seen it in my Reliability Monitor, not flashing on the screen like some others.) Your solution has worked for me. Now, why cant Corsair do this???
  9. Thanks. I never had to do that before...
  10. Folks, I am running three machines, each on 3.29.110. Each has a slightly different AIO and corsair RGB keyboard. On each, I have set up a separate profile for cooling and lighting (AIO) and the key lighting on the keyboard. On each, whenever I reboot my computer, the "Default" profile loads. That is the spiraling rainbow effect. It is NOT what I had set and was running before the reboot. How do I keep MY profile as the one to start when iCUE starts? (This was not an issue before 2.29.110.) Thanks, Ken
  11. Folks, I kept getting freezes when I tried to update my iCUE software. I would get a failure to uninstall or a fail to install at 13%. I followed the FAQ to delete all the registry entries. https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025166712-Perform-a-clean-reinstallation-of-the-Corsair-Utility-Engine-iCUE- That failed. Upon reboot, there'd still be some iCUE activity and the Corsair folders would re-appear. I opened the Task Manager and found three running processes tied to Corsair. It was whack-a-mole. As I stopped the processes, they would restart. I finally stumbled on an iCUE process. (Alphabetical, so the Corsair listings got my attention.) Once I killed that process, I was able to to stop the three Corsair processes. Then, the uninstall/registry cleaning (as linked above) worked. A reboot, and a manual install of the manually downloaded 3.29.110 worked. (Previously, it would hang at 13%.) Forgive me for the lack of precisely defining what I did and the error messages. The takeaway: a rogue Corsair and iCUE process is not addressed in the FAQ. There was something left behind by one of the previous updates that was causing the conficts. Since the clean install, I have had no more "Corsair.Service.Display.Adapter" errors. Ken
  12. Great. My attempt to upgrade to this version leaves me with this: (Okay, I can't IMPORT an image? I've got to link a URL??? C'mon.) Anyway, the updater fully downloaded the new version, but then hangs...permanently...at "Uninstalling driver...". So. That puts an end to that.
