  1. Hi, I am about to buy this SSD. Corsair Force Series Gen.4 PCIe MP600 https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Storage/M-2-SSDs/Force-Series%E2%84%A2-Gen-4-PCIe-NVMe-M-2-SSD/p/CSSD-F500GBMP600 It comes with its own heatsink. However is that heatsink removable by the user, if required as a standard and simple process without voiding the warranty? Of course that SSD being Gen4 PCIe I know I will not operate it without heatsink. However the issue is that my board will have M.2 slot covered with a single piece of heatsink that also extends and covers the chipset. Board manufacture tech support confirmed that since the heatsink also covers chipset, it's not advisable to remove that M.2 heatsink. So to install this SSD, I would need to remove the heatsink off this SSD and mandatorily use the heatsink that comes with M.2 slot. I suppose may be it's a bit of inconvenient design by the board manufacturer? ASRock B550. They should have had only M.2 slot covered with its heatsink and keep the chipset heatsink totally separate and non-removable may be?? Thanks.
  2. Since DDR1 days I have 'violated' best practices when it comes to using RAM. Like installing 400Mhz when my board only supported 333 or installing 2 RAM sticks of same size but totally different brands etc. So far I never faced boot issues. However I believe Ryzen AM4 is bit more finicky! You clarified that ICs may be different even under same part number! So going by that I will have to stick to Dual Channel Kit. Thanks.
  3. Hi, A question like this might have been asked before, but I could not find it out exactly on this forum. I am interested to buy Corsair DDR4 RAM. The part number is CMK8GX4M1E3200C16 (8GB x 1 ). Most authorized retailers in my country have single 8GB x 1 RAM sticks of above part number. My question is if I buy 2 separates 8 X 1 pieces, will the two CMK8GX4M1E3200C16’s be identical in terms of Rank, SPD, Chipset and any other technical parameters? If so, I have higher chances of getting them to work as Dual Channel RAM on my AM4 B450 Chipset motherboard. Thanks.
  4. Hi, I am about to buy Corsair Hydro Series 100i Pro AIO Cooler. The case I will be having is Phanteks 300P. This cabinet can support E-ATX boards, its length from IO shield to front of the case is 400mm. The cabinet can hold radiator in front panel only. So do the pipes on 100i are long enough to reach up to the radiator mount position on front? Secondly I guess I will have to install the fans as intake on the radiator. However due to front panel positioning it seems I cannot mount the fans after the radiator. It will be front panel then radiator and then fans in intake position. Is it normal to suck air thru the radiator? Would it affect the cooling performance? Thanks.
