  1. Just wanted to say the 3.15 update definitely seems to have cured the usb disconnect issue. I was one of the original people that tagged onto this post to address the issue way back on page 4 back in Dec 2018. Unfortunate that it took 6 months to get the issue ironed out, but it seems solved for me so far an hour into using spiral rainbow on my cooler. Usually using that would cause the USB disconnect sound at least half a dozen to a dozen times within the hour.
  2. Although I am also waiting for a fix for the RGB issue, I believe the 115i Platinum is still a solid buy, IMHO. Having 1 color currently on an RGB enabled device does stink, I'm hoping corsair will step it into high-gear and work on a fix. Same thing happened to my Corsair RGB Strafe when it first came out years ago, and it did indeed get fixed. If it helps you decide to get it, I went from lower 70's in temp with an r7 1700 at 3.7ghz on all cores with stock cooler, to low 30s while gaming. iCUE software reports 23c though. Running Cinebench I get low 50s. I think it's still a good buy, just with hiccups.
  3. Hello, just joined to chime in that I have the same cooler as the OP and have the same disconnecting issues. Closing iCue stops the disconnecting. The disconnecting seems to happen more frequently while in-game btw. On desktop it still happens but just less frequently. I see a new version of iCue came out today I think. I'll update and see if the issue is still there after update. Btw, I am indeed up to date on all firmware too.
