  1. I have the EVGA Hybrid Kit for my 980ti. I switched from the HG10 N980. Those temps were 40- idle and 63- max load thats not woth a OC. Now Here are the Stats for the EVGA Hybrid GPU with OC - Benchmark numbers--- the two numbers together are GPU Clock and Memory Clock --- Profiles in After Burner -> 0 Default is 2656 -- 1 is 50/50 = 2665 -- 2 is 75/75 = 2715 -- 3 is 100/100 = 2728 -- 4 is 125/125 = 2775 -- 5 is 150/150 = 2774 < Dropped 1 Point --- Best is Profile 4 at 125/125 = 2775 --- GPU Temp was 38 to 41 all the time... CPU danced around 50 degrees
  2. My H80i GT is working, just not getting better temps: idle 40°C Underload doesn't past 60°C
  3. The EVGA kit idles at 18°C it hits 55 on a really high over clock. The kit is $100 and comes with a radiator. This kit should do be than these temperatures because of a thicker radiator.
  4. Hi Dustin, I have the N980 with a 80i GT attached. My unit is working and is assembled properly. Now, I get a idle temp of 40 and a max temp of 64. This is not good on this bracket. My is actually installed correctly and working. These aren't advertised temperatures. Now seeing as I did not get a faulty product and is working corrctly, you guys should do a recall. Even with mine working correctly, I am getting the same temps as my GPU on air cooling. This is not good. I ordered the EVGA Hybrid cooler and when it comes in the mail, I am returning this bracket and the cooler and expecting a full refund.
  5. Just be careful, when it got to 70 it started to stutter.
  6. Alright guys, I performed a few stress tests with a tiny OC. I ran heaven benchmark and let it heat up the card. I did this to heat up my paste on the card. I left it at 70°C for five minutes then turned off the system and walked away for an hour. I now have rebooted the system and am getting better results! My new Temps are as followings. Idle:33 gaming (MGSV upscale 4k): 53°C. I am very happy with these results as I am running a quiet setup. If you guys have any questions just ask. I will also be happy to post pictures for you guys
  7. Just with my case off, it dropped it down 3 degrees. That's 36°C. I'm sure if I wanted to, I can get it in the mid 50's underload that's not with a OC though.
  8. It might be because I am not using the default fans on the 80i gt. I am using Noctuas in push/pull config with the silent adapter (fans won't go over 2000 rpm). Now if I put on the other adapter, you will see a big difference in temps but I like my setup to be quiet.
  9. It's just a guess. My room stays pretty hot and I recorded out of box temps. When the board heats up and settles it will have more contact with the hydro cooler and offer better temps. Forgot to mention, I am playing all my games at upscaled 4k
  10. Update on my HG10 n980 running on a 80i GT on a MSI GTX 980ti V1. My temps are good! I did not have time to break it in yet so take these as a grain of salt. I am only listing highest temperatures. Idle:39°C Gaming (MGSV): 64°C. It hasn't gone any higher than that. Its the same in Mad Max. After I have had time to break it in, I believe these will be final temps: 32°C- IDLE Gaming: 54°C. This is just my guess. The real question is should I get a backplate for this?
  11. I used the Intel bracket. I used the put it snug not tight advice. Anything else just ask!

  13. http://postimg.org/image/c20xgn91z/ http://postimg.org/image/yrwpjglbb/ Mine turned out great! I am using the MSI GTX 980ti V1. I have the 80i gt as my cooler. Idle temp is 32 degrees under load 56 degrees.
