On another note.... They replied to my support ticket: "My apologies for the experience with the Mice, If we are to use the mice on Bluetooth mode the saved profile will not work. though if your going to use the mice on wireless it should have the wireless receiver that it came with for the profile to work. " This does not help at all. Of course I know you can't configure the device while on bluetooth. I configure it while using the USB receiver... And in anycase... I'm on bluetooth now and it's using the onboard memory saved to the device (not the factory defaults). So no, that's why I came to the forum and did not waste time with support tickets in the first place. It just kept resetting to factory defaults after a while, which is the issue. But I'm testing it and seeing if the settings now finally stick.. But now the K70 RGB and iCue 4 thing...

Thank you. Yes, I do change the DPI and LED colour and that's what I'm trying to save. It would save it to the mouse, but it eventually just resets itself which is the problem I'm having. My iCue looks slightly different (using 3.38.61), that's the only difference. Since the last automatic reset, the changes take effect only when iCue is running, but when I now close it, the factory settings remain on the mouse. I need to play around again more to get it to stick - but then it just resets again eventually. UPDATE: I installed iCue 4, but I'm not sure if the automatic resets will stop...I'll test and report back. UPDATE2: Nope, as soon as I close iCue, the settings go back to default on the mouse. UPDATE3: Reset mouse, then opened iCue, then closed iCue, and settings stuck. But now to see if they stay on the mouse. Put mouse on bluetooth and they still stuck (I can tell by the LED colours) - nothing strange here, already got to this point...just after a while and it resets... so let's see. UPDATE4: So far, it's still using the onboard memory and has not reset... keeping my fingers crossed. But now... iCue 4 does not have a way to save the lighting on my K70 RGB itself like I could with iCue 3. No "Save static lighting to HW" or anything like that....

OK... so how do you get an onboard profile onto the mouse???? I switch it to bluetooth... it works for a while but then after some time i notice it just goes back to factory settings... if I connect to the dongle, it syncs with iCue so I can't really test with that... My whole point is to be able to save an onboard profile. But how then do I ?

Ok, I think I figured how to get the DPI and LED settings to stick. Under DPI make sure to only have one dpi "profile". They really don't make things clear. Even on my Glaive and that has an actual tab to select onboard storage. Now, I must just test this issue where after using Bluetooth, the onboard resets back to factory settings....... Side note: This kind of sucks though, because I specifically create other DPI configs for game profiles so that say I launch a game in which I know the DPI i use, I set that profile to use the DPI config which only contains that DPI and nothing else - this way I avoid having to scroll through the DPIs to get the one I want (since if your Default / game profile use the same DPI "profile", then it just stays on the DPI setting you were using when in Windows... Seems like an odd feature to not have (long and confusing, sorry). Still the issue with resetting after bluetooth though. UPDATE: So far, it's not resetting after connecting to bluetooth now after the last 'fix' to the onboard memory.. let's see. I'll keep playing around with it.

I have changed the default DPI stages from 800/1500/3000 to 1200/1600/3200 in iCue. I also changed the LED colours to be one shade that gets brighter the higher the DPI. Now, I close iCue, turn the mouse off and on and I can see the profile has stuck.. but if I use the mouse on bluetooth, it resets the profile and the next time i connect to the dongle, iCue tells me the profile stored on the hardware is not the same as the Default profile's settings.... now i can't even get the changes i made to stick on the mouse.. how do you change the default dpi and led colour on the onboard memory in the first place? there is no 'save to device memory' button anywhere either. As far as I understand you use the default profile (since the icon is different), but then why do the settings no longer stick? So now I can't have the settings i previously had saved to the mouse because I connected it to bluetooth, and I'm stuck with the factory settings for the onboard profile now, and can only use my custom settings with iCue...?

Ah, ok. That's ok with me. With the logitech I was able to change the polling rate with software profiles. I'd just always keep the mouse in performance mode but have the polling rate set to 125Hz and use a software profile to switch it to 1000Hz per game executable. Worked 5 months like this on a rechargeable that was not fully charged to begin with. Why do reviewers complain about AA batteries in favour of a built-in battery that dies and then you can't replace it a few years down the line? I still have a logitech G700s from 2014 thanks to the AA battery. I got this because of the AA battery (and the fact I could save my settings on the mouse and easily switch it for gaming and normal use without software installed). I only use rechargeables anyway. Just my 2 cents.

I just replaced my Logitech G305 with the Katar Pro since I already have a Corsair keyboard. I am just not clear how to change the polling rate automatically. I can link a game to a profile but how do I have the mouse switch to 1000Hz with that profile. I prefer to use 125Hz, and when gaming switch to 1000Hz. But I don't see an option. Must I manually switch it to performance mode before I launch a game? Regards
