  1. I contacted Corsair Support and they offered me a replacement, I suggest you do the same :) You'll just need to send them your unit, they're paying for shipping, ordering transportation. When they get your faulty unit, they will send you a brand-new one, obviously ;)
  2. Nah, ambient temps are still low where I live, it doesn't matter, RM750 has never started the fan off, ever, even during summer.
  3. Just to add, my RM750 was refunded after almost 5 years of use, it started making high-pitched noise, my warranty claim was approved. I bought RM850x to replace it, because it was on sale for a good price, I know I don't need that much power.
  4. Hello, I noticed that my RMx series RM850x Corsair power supply randomly starts off its fan even when computer is practically in idle state (while browsing internet etc). This most definitely should not be happening, as this PSU is only supposed to start off the fan under heavy load/high temperature and that's why I bought it in the first place. The PSU's fan is indeed quiet, but audible over my case fans. If I reset my PC, the fan stops working. I guess that's a faulty unit then? It's not possible for my entire system in full load to draw enough energy to make RM850x's fan spin, I used to have Corsair RM750 for 5 years before, and it never EVER started off its fan, anti-dust filters were always clean. Now, when I have RM850x unit, the filters get dirty and I can clearly hear the fan working. Only PC reset stops it. All temperatures are fine, cold air is being blown out of the case. Is there anything I could do except starting a warranty claim?
  5. Dude, do you see the difference in benchmark results? There is 90% drop at some cases and the drive is not even half full. Also I tested the drive a lot when I purchased it, I filled it with data, and there were just slight performance drops, not absolutely insanely huge ones I have now even though drive is not even close to full.
  6. Hello, Recently I started noticing something really weird happening with my MP510 drive's performance... I ran some basic tests and results are horrendously bad, not only in the benchmarks, but also in real case scenario, like copying a Windows 10 ISO file. Before I could make several copies with full speed of this very same file, now the drive begins to choke just after 2-3 copies and drops performance significantly. Also, my drive refuses to update the firmware to 12.3 version, I'm on 12.2. The process just fails every time. My problems started before I tried to update it, however. I actually tried to update it to see if it would change anything. What the hell is happening? I attach a screenshot showing drastic change in test results. Also please note that there's still A LOT of free space on the drive and it's just been a few months since I bought it. I did not really notice any decrease in system or gaming performance though. I take good care of my PC, everything's sorted, no infections, rubbish, etc. Everything should be in perfect shape. Please help!
  7. Sounds too risky to perform at the moment then.
  8. Just a simple question - will updating my MP510's firmware from 12.2 to 12.3 affect any data stored on my drive? I cannot afford to lose any of it and currently cannot make backup for so many files.
  9. Alright, thank you for your help, I hope you have a great week :)
  10. I mean that the cycle color effect does not go through spectrum, it goes through random colors, and I don't like it, because it can cycle like red-blue-red-blue-green-red-green-red-other color, you got it? I wish it was changing color for spectrum, not random colors, just like color wave goes through spectrum and not random colors.
  11. Thanks for answering, Astral85. Ad 2. By RGB spectrum cycling I mean that the option iCUE provides is just color cycling and it cycles in random colors, it can go like red-blue-red-blue-other color. How I wish it worked was cycling through the whole RGB spectrum, like wave effect does. I also have a HyperX keyboard and it cycles through full RGB spectrum, not random colors. Ad 3. Guess Google will help :) Ad 4. Thanks, do you know any more guys like this?
  12. Hi, I've bought K70 MK.2 Rapidfire with Cherry MX Speed switches and I love it, but I'd have some questions about setting things ready to go with iCUE software. 1) How do I make advanced lightning options? I don't seem to find it. I see people creating some awesome lightning effects, how to do that? 2) How can I set lightning to do RGB spectrum cycles, not random color cycles? I guess I'd have to do that manually somehow? 3) I know how to open folders with .bat files in iCUE, but how do I open websites with iCUE? 4) Where do I look for lightning presets other people create and how do I apply these presets? Thanks in advance.
  13. Thank you very much for the answer, BlaiseP!
  14. Hi, I do not see an option in iCUE software which would allow me to open a specific website and bind it to a key. I can easily do that on my HyperX keyboard with their nGenuity software. Is there a way to open a specific website through iCUE software?
  15. That is not helpful at all.
