  1. Hello all, I just have a quick question about my upcoming build. I want to use four ML140MM RGB and three ML120MM RGB fans around my case and I want to make sure I fully understand how everything needs to be connected in order for me to control lighting through iCUE. If I understand everything correctly I should plug the fan PWM cables into the PWM headers on the Corsair Commander Pro (using one splitter cable to connect 7 fans to 6 PWM hubs) and plug the RGB cables from the fans into two Corsair RGB LED hubs which themselves connect to the two RGB LED headers on the Commander Pro. I believe I can also plug my H150i USB connector and the USB connector from my HX100i into the two USB ports on the Commander Pro. Both the RGB hubs and the Commander Pro need to be plugged into SATA ports from my Corsair power supply, and the Commander Pro's USB cable can be plugged into an internal USB header. Is this the correct way to connect everything? Will I be able to control the lighting from all of my fans by connecting everything this way? Would I also be able to control my fan speed? Thanks!
  2. Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I want to get the Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL for my next build and had planned to install six ML120 PRO RGB 120mm fans in it - three at the side for intake, three on the bottom for intake, with the H150i mounted on top for exhaust. How would I go about manually controlling this many RGB fans? The Commander Pro only has two LED channels - does this mean I would need four Pros? I presume not because that seems more than a little silly. Thanks for reading!
  3. Brilliant, thanks for your help. One final question if I may. The case I want to use is a Meshify S2. I presume I could mount the Commander and RGB hub on the back of the motherboard tray to try and hide the wires?
  4. Thanks for the reply. I won't be using any beQuiet fans in any hubs. I plan to have my one beQuiet CPU fan plugged into my CPU fan header on my mobo. The Noctua fans I'm using are the NF-A14 ones as well. My overall plan is this then: have my five Noctua fans plugged into the Commander Pro and my one HD fan power cable into the Commander Pro. I then connect my Commander to the RGB hub and plug the HD RGB cable into the RGB hub. The RGB hub is powered by a SATA cable and the Commander plugs into a USB port. Have I got all that correct? Is that viable? I presume with this setup I can manually control the RGB HD fan? Two other quick questions: should I use a USB 2 header for the Commander, and will the Commander allow me to manually control the Noctua fans even though they aren't Corsair fans? Thanks for your help!
  5. Hello all, I have a question about the Commander Pro. I am looking to have one HD120mm fan on the outside of my Dark Rock Pro 4 for just a touch of RGB. I want to be able to control the RGB with Corsair software. What would I need to achieve this? I saw a YouTube reviewer who stated you only need the Commander Pro which would act as a fan hub for my other Noctua case fans but also provide power and RGB control for my HD fan. In a contradictory fashion I have seen posts on here and elsewhere which state I need both the Commander Pro and the RGB hub Corsair also sells. Could I get clarification on this please? Thanks.
  6. Hello all, I am currently thinking of getting a Corsair LL 120mm fan to replace the outer fan which comes with my CPU cooler. I was wondering how I should connect it so I can change the RGB on said fan. If I understand things correctly I will need to plug the power cable of the LL fan into my CPU_OPT fan header and plug the RGB cable of the LL fan into the Lightning Node Pro? Is there anything I am missing or am I completely incorrect? This is my first time with anything RGB so I'm quite a noob at this. Thanks!
  7. Hello all, I am new to AIOs and watercooling in general. I am thinking of changing my current CPU air cooler for a Corsair AIO and I have some questions. Firstly, which way should my radiator fans blow? The case I will probably be using will be a Meshify S2 and I will probably mount the radiator up top. I will have three 140mm fans in front, one at the rear, and so that leaves the fans in the radiator. Secondly, which one should I go for? I am currently looking at the H150i Pro, but would welcome other suggestions. Would going for one with two fans be better for my overall fan setup? I’m worried multiple fans at the top may disrupt airflow. Thirdly, should I replace the stock fans that come with the AIO I choose? I’ve heard the stock fans aren’t that good but obviously I don’t have any firsthand experience so any feedback on the stock fans would be appreciated. Thanks! Answers to any or all of my questions are much appreciated!
  8. Hello, I’m thinking of getting an RM1000i PSU for my rig and I have a question and, since I’m a total noob at building PCs, I wanted to get some clarification. I have gotten a 2080Ti which needs 2 8-pin or 6+2-pin PCIe power dongles. I presume the RM1000i will come with all of the required cables? I’m only asking as my current RM650X was powering an old 1080 which only needed 1 8-pin. Thanks!
