  1. Shouldn't be any issues. I could still control and see my H115i Pro cooler even after editing the .dll files. What do you control through iCue? I dont know what it will do if you have a commander pro or something to control your fans, but assume it will be fine. You shouldn't delete the dll files though, just rename them to something like cpuidsdk.dll.bak.
  2. Renaming the different cpuidskd files should work. But did you try to download the latest update? It worked for me, no black screens since.
  3. Still good! Haven't had any problems what so ever. Can't think of anything else I did, other than update to the newest version. Tried stresstesting, running games (BO4, Overwatch, and some random other games) and still no black screen. So as far as I can see, they might've fixed it in the newest update. (When I check the iCue folder, it still has the same cpuidsk dll files, so they haven't removed them)
  4. After the latest update (3.11.114), I havent gotten any black screens (yet) and I can see all the temps from ASUS, GPU, CPU and coolant in iCUE. 3 days without a black screen atm
  5. And it is happening with my Ryzen 5 2600X on an ASUS X470-f board. So it seems like its mainly on Asus boards, and not specifically chipsets.
  6. I've started getting the same problems again. Worked well for a week or so. Using 3.7.103 I also renamed all the CPUID/CPU .dll's, and now only my mouse shows up in iCue, but no black screens at least.
  7. I'm using 3.7.103 atm, and computer has been running for about 24 hours without any problems. Ran some stress-tests to see if I could trigger it, but no problems so far. Seems like it's fixed for me at least.
  8. Does this update fix the CPUID bug, that caused the computer to completely crash?
  9. Is it any other way to check CPU temps without CPUID? I can check in BIOS, but that never seem accurate. All I can check atm is my H115i temps, but I also want to see what my CPU core temps are.
  10. Just did! I renamed both of them, cpuidsdk.dll and cpuidsdk64.dll. So far so good, will try some games etc to see if it happens again. EDIT: Have rebooted a couple of times, ran Cinebench and prime95, and played some Overwatch. Still no issues, even though I have iCue open at all times, showing H115i Pro temps. Seems like this is a good temporary solution. EDIT2: Just installed HWMONITOR (also CPUID) to test with that software as well. Almost instantly black screens. Uninstalled again, and seems like to be working fine again.
  11. I would just like to add that it happens to my freshly built system as well Suddenly black screens, fans still running but no response. Have to turn off/on the PSU to get back. ASUS Strix X470-F, AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, H115i Pro RGB. Tried with iCue, Link 4 and CUE, same thing with all of them.
