  1. Looked at the pro and didn't like the look of the number row keys with symbols places to the side of the numbers. Of course, switching the caps with the MKI would have been an option. Not bothered about linux these days, like my gaming to be less complicated and have full admin rights on all PCs I use. Got 5 years out of the MKI, hope the MK2 last that long.
  2. In the process of replacing an old K70 keyboard with the newer MK2 version. The old one has a dead spacebar and I was thinking about having a go at repair. Nothing to lose, right? So far tried the following: Removing key cap, apply drop of contact cleaner Pressing key without key cap in place Reset KB with Esc plug in Update firmware Plugging into different PC The two stabilizers either side of the key are both fine. Can't think of anything else to try. Are the actual keys (not caps) diy replaceable? I'm not terrible at soldering if that's required. Searching forum drew a blank. TIA
  3. That's good to hear. Just placed an order for a K70 MK2. Would have been happy with another MKI K70, but they don't seem available now.
  4. Would profiles (particularly actions) made using an older non lux version of K70 RGB be usable with a replacement K70 MK2 RGB MX? TIA
