  1. I did exactly that switch. Better cooling and most important.....no usb or other issues what so ever. Loving it. To me the platinum now is not worth buying.
  2. Well. I dont have steam on startup....still having disconnects.
  3. That is strange. I pushed for a more detailed answer from corsair. This is their response: Hello, I'm afraid I don't have an update for you and currently don't have any new information I can provide. We do have some temporary work-arounds that may help. 1. If you have steam starting up with your machine, temporary disable it from start-up. 2. Restart the "Corsair Service" by going to iCue > Settings > "Restart" of the iCue service. 3. Temporary set a static color to the color. These three things may help the disconnect sound temporary. I do apologize that I cannot provide an update at this time, but I can reassure you that the team is actively working on a fix.
  4. Why not just keep the Pro and buy a pair of ml rgb etc fans?
  5. So what to do? Is it best to return for refund? I have that possibility. And get a H100i Pro? I have a H100i Platinum rocking these problems.
  6. Do you have this grinding noise on startup? I have this sound on startup but then it goes away.
  7. Well.....i am sick of this and sick of waiting. 4 months now. I am returning my h100i platinum and getting a h100i pro instead.
  8. Because for me i put my money on corsair and i have a commander pro who controls all the other fans in my case. Also it is nice to have the software to regulate the pump and fan speeds.
  9. I also have the H100i and are having these problems😣
  10. James at Corsair responded that they are aware of the bug. They are working on it. Hopefully a fix will come soon
  11. I finally got an answer from Corsair; Thank you for contacting support. A repair on our iCue software may resolve this issue. Within Windows 10: Right click Windows Start Menu and click on "Apps & Features" You should see "Corsair iCue Software" Click on "Modify" Go through the process and you'll have a "Repair" option. Allow this to finish and test your hardware again. Please let me know if the problem continues, so we can further troubleshoot. Regards, James I tried this, but it still happened once. Will do some more testing.
