  1. Yeah, I'm sorry Aoxomoxoa that you're going through this with me. I do believe it's likely a Hue side issue, but I wish Corsair would work with them and at least communicate, "Got it, we're aware, we're gonna work on resolving it." rather than just no response at all. They market this feature and while I do understand it's pretty darn niche in the grand scheme of things, I do see that they're starting to market iCue working with Nanoleaf. Just got a promo email about it 5 days ago. Now, I've thought about getting some Nanoleaves(?) prior to this and still consider it, but if I know that it may end up being pretty rough like the $150 worth of hue lights I bought just for the integration... well? I can't trust Corsair with that. So, I know it may not be their fault, but at least communicate guys. And just a reminder, they work fine when I change profiles (which I HAVE to do like 8-12 times a day now to get my Hue) but they "time-out" at random times after that. What prompted me back here just now was that I changed the profile, they turned on... started working and only 10 min later they cut off. Usually I get at least 30 min to an hour. 😞 Corsair people, anything? These forums aren't just for us to scream into the air, right?
  2. Yup, was just about to post this myself. So I have 3 HUE play lights, 1 on either side of my monitor and 1 in the middle on the back of it. I keep trying to time just how long it takes for them to go out but it seems to vary, however it's always within an hour. And it always happens with them going out in a specific order. Left turns off, and within a few moments to a few minutes, the right goes out, then a few moments/minutes later, the middle goes off. Now here's the thing, no settings/changes are needed. If I change my profile to any other profile, even if I simply change it and change it back to the original, they all come right back on. Until it eventually happens again. So it's like they're timing out somehow. Going on for about two weeks now I'd say. Hopefully someone at Corsair can resolve this as I'm guessing this is a back-end issue like the last time Hue lights messed up about 4-6 months ago. Edit: Of course this happens, just checked and there's an update from v4.27.168 to v4.28.177 I see original poster was already on v4.28.177 though so I'm assuming this still isn't fixed, but will report if it doesn't happen again.
  3. Same issue here. It's been doing this for a couple of weeks now I believe. Unplugging and replugging the usb connection resolves it every time. It's become a bit annoying though as whenever I start up from a cold boot it's a 50/50 chance of it working without needing to be plugged back in.
  4. Thank you so much for fixing this. I know it seems small but this means a lot to me with my desk layout, all the Corsair lighting and the 2 Hue Play lights I have backing the desk's lighting. It does seem a little limited now but I'll make it work, at least it's up and running again.
  5. This is so frustrating, I was dealing with this issue myself. Today I decided (for a few reasons) to do a full partition deletion, creation, reinstall of Windows 11 and everything. So it doesn't get any more of a clean install than this. Fired up iCue, set all my fans/lights up, and turned on Philips Hue. Ran the wizard, pushed the button on the Hue hub, it found it instantly and was working. FINALLY! 30 seconds later as I'm about to change the color of my Hue desk lights aaaand... same exact thing as before. I do not believe it's me or any of my equipment and that RuCAS is correct in that it's on the Corsair side of things. Corsair, please get this fixed. I put a lot of money into my setup and you guys, and I'd appreciate y'all putting some resource fixing this feature.
  6. Now the two Hue Play lights on my desk were just stuck, not responding to Alex or the Hue App. So I simply unplugged and replugged them just now and ... suddenly they're reconnected in iCue. Corsair devs, I think this one may not be on you. This feels like some stuff Philips is doing or a bad update to the Hub they pushed out. Not sure but any checking on it is still greatly appreciated.
  7. And... it's off again. Yup, that fast. I literally did nothing between the last post and this one aside from text a friend. Awesome.
  8. So, I spent an hour last night re-setting up the entire Hue app (didn't realize the bridge was what held /all/ the settings) with every light in my house, re-added all the scenes, etc. I was going to hop on and say do NOT do that but... I saw Kevjtro's message today and thought, screw it, let's see what happens. I clicked the iCue Hue "run wizard" again, went and pushed the button the Hue bridge and suddenly now it connects like none of this ever happened. Not sure if it'll stay but after dealing with this for a couple of weeks, I sure hope this is finally fixed.
  9. Just wanted to reply, same exact thing happening to me right now. Hue was working just fine until a few days ago and now I've done everything in this thread and the other thread, deleted config file entirely... factory reset Hue Hub even... everything. It came back online just fine, I reconnected Hub to my meethue account, everything. But iCue still isn't seeing it when I push the button while it's waiting. Corsair dev's, can you please take a look at this?
  10. Dota 2 and iCue, at least for me, has an issue that I beg you to fix as I play a LOT of Dota 2 and a have a LOT of Corsair products that I love (and would like to keep buying more of in the future). The first time I play Dota 2 after a reboot, the game loads fine and quickly as per my system specs. However after that, if I ever close out and try to re-open it, it hangs for 30 seconds to a minute and a half. Dota 2 says running in Steam, but it isn't, and it doesn't until something seems to time out. Turns out, if I delete the user/appdata/local/corsair folder, everything works fine again. Until anywhere from a few days later to literally another hour or so. This has gone on for over a year with small breaks that, in hindsight, I imagine are due to changes in the iCue software over time. I've re-installed windows, I've literally built a new computer and it kept coming back before I discovered the fix. PLEASE fix this. Tell me which log and/or what you want me to post to help resolve this. Thank you.
  11. Gotcha. I think this video does a great job showing off her abilities. [ame] [/ame]
  12. Hey there Krazykid, love your work. I'm just bummed there are so many cool LoL themes and only 1 Dota them I've found so far. My favorite character in Dota 2 is Lina and I would love to have my keyboard show this off when playing. My ideas are as follows: 1) General Moba layout. 2) Q key = her ability Dragon Slave. Upon pressing Q, a 3-4 key deep (vertical) wave of orange/yellow washes across the keyboard in the same general way the LoL themes show (starting from the keys). 3) W key = Light Strike Array. I would start with the 5 key on the number pad and light up the keys radiating out with the same orange/yellow color. 4) E = it's a passive, no need for it to do anything since you never press it. 5) R = Laguna blade, basically a lightning strike. I'd say a yellow-white'ish color striking on just a single row of keys from left-to-right on the keyboard, maybe flashing a time or two to really emphasize it. Bright at first, then dimming (like bright, bright, dim, dimmer). Anyway, my first post here after lurking for a long time and just though, "I keep looking for this, why not request it?" Anything you can do would be greatly appreciated and thank you so much for all you've already done. Love the themes.
