  1. Its been kinda radio silent on this one, I even put in a support ticket. Wonder if they even tested this before they pushed it out or just assumed everyone used their sensors for everything.
  2. The service is for anyone with a Corsair gaming headset or an item like the ST100 RGB that you can modify audio through iCUE. If you aren't using them, then you can disable the service. May not even neet it with those items if you don't use iCUE for them.
  3. So you all are aware, there is also a reddit thread on the topic regarding the update not using non-Corsair thermal sensors for fan curves (defaulting to the lowest RPM). Same issue here and sameish solution, just used the thermistor I had placed inside the fins of my 3080ti Hybrid Radiator to control the fan speed for now.
  4. There is a reddit thread on it as well. Set a custom speed for now until Corsair fixes it.
  5. I posted in the nexus forum but not getting much feedback from that team, thought I would post here. This looks like it just slipped QA, but the Plus (+) sign in order to add applications for nexus buttons is missing in the latest iCUE release: https://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=205770
  6. RIGHT?! I'm afraid to touch the others since they are working but still are calling batch scripts or powershell scripts. FYI the + sign is there for my K95
  7. So after upgrading one of my launch app elements stopped working, gave me an error the file could not be found. Ok, fine maybe I need to reconfigure it? So I go in and see the assignment is launch app, and I selected "Select Application to Launch" but then there is nowhere to click to actually select the application? How to do I point it to the executable I want to run? I tried switching it from the other options but nowhere does a dialog window open that will let me actually select an application. Am I missing something obvious here? I am on 4.10.273
  8. running 2.2.5, after removing all performance monitors my CPU dropped as well as my loading time, so it has to do with how you are doing the polling of those metrics.
  9. So, my original reason for buying this was to put up hardware stats. It's not very good for that, limited metrics and displaying those take up a TON of CPU and loading times. I'd suggest removing any from the default screens if you have items like a Corsair AIO or PSU. This thing is GREAT for buttons. I've made a separate screen for conference calls that I can one-click set up my backlight and audio (input and output) to the correct channels. A quick Mic mute button, disable the camera, et al. For gaming profile sets for Ryzen High Performance and Balanced to switch between. Hot keyed my MSI Afterburner profiles. Toggle RTSS overlays on and off. Granted 99% of this can by hotkeyed or run through scripts, but its convenient to have it there and saying what they are if you don't have custom programmable keys on your keyboard or if you do, just ones that will be common no matter the profile. Its growing on me and I am getting a lot of value out of it now.
  10. I think the biggest problem is the cheap LCD panel. Honestly it's not worth $100. Even when attached to the keyboard the angles on it are so poor it gets washed out like a $99 walmart TN chromebook. I've tried adjusting the brightness for this but the settings are this: - black -barely visible -too bright - Blinding And all settings have the white washed effect at every angle except head on.

  12. It does not happen when it isn't plugged in. It is plugged into the PC directly, I don't have an extra USB port on my K95, its the version with the 18 G Keys
  13. Before when I logged in after sleep iCUE always took a bit to reload, but no more than a fraction of a second, noticeable nut not an issue. Now after using and setting up the Nexus to show my hardware stats, it can take up to 10-15 seconds to load. It's noticeable since I use a K95 keyboard and the profile won't load for it, my lighting for my H115i Platinum, and my fan profiles for the platinum and my commander pro. It's not a dealbreaker, just a bit of an annoyance. I have the following things being configured through iCUE: H115i Platinum Commander Pro Asus MB K95 Keyboard ST100 headphone stand HX1000i

    iCUE Nexus

Got mine today, CPU is a bit higher than I would like, but I think that's an iCUE Problem, its why I don't use iCUE for monitoring on the dashboard page. Also the brightness needs to be adjustable its painful to look at for more than a few seconds t ome as the brightness is just off or it could be to the type of screen? Look like a cheap TN pannel? It is taking up 1.4- 1.7% of my 3900X. which is a bit high. I will seocnd the need for more monitors like GPU usage, GPU clock, CPU Clocks, also weird it doesn't take the names I have for the fans and sensors from my Commander Pro, it just lists them as defaults, but that's easily fixed for my H115i Plat, but not so much for my commander pro. It does what I bought it for though, quick look stats and some quick access buttons.
