  1. There is an option under your ram settings in iCue that is titled “hardware lighting”
  2. This was me as well, but if you change hardware colours on the RAM it might break it. and the funny thing it is just one of the modules that stops responding
  3. posting here exact same issue. My spec 7950X3D, Aorus Master X670E, Aorus 4090 Master. 32GB (16x2) 5600 DDR5 RGB Vengeance. H115i Capellix with ELite LCD upgrade and Corsair QL140 fans (x3) The ironic thing is this was an RMA for the initial batch that did not show up in Icue (and was one of the affected SKUs) Got the replacement in the beginning of March. It been running fine with zero issues. I think last week or week before I saw the 1.01.8 firmware (previously it would give an error when checking for an update) .... so was surpised to see one, and i updated (like everyone else). Was still running fine until today 😞 I decided to update the hardware lighting on the memeory modules to rainbow (like the rest of the components). The setting stuck and the PC after some time defaulted to my normal colours of satic purple. It seemed all fine. When i rebooted i realsied the one dimm was not detected in iCue and the RGB colours was stuck on Rainbow. What i have tried 1. Clean install of iCue (both version 4 and 5) 2. Reset CMOS 3. Default non eXPO settings for memory 4. Moved dimms around; played also with only one dimm installed (faulty one and the working one) 5. Removed PC power for a good few seconds (from the mains allows caps to drain) Nothing helps 😞 Seems new firmware coupled with hardware lighting setting broke things for me and appears irronically like the same issue i had with the first set of dimms (which corsair confirmed was a fault batch as per my link)
  4. So I managed to rma my faulty ram modules and got replacement ones which worked perfectly off the bat (they were part of the faulty batch) There was a firmware update for the ram dimms which I updated I think last week and today I attempted to change the hardware lighting on the modules … setting stuck. But when I rebooted I noticed only one dimm was lit up. Going into iCue showed only one dimm 1. windows and in the bios it sees both dimms 2. I’ve tried moving the dimms around on my x670e motherboard 3. I’ve tried running with a single dimm only (trying either dimm and in different slots) 4. I have clean uninstalled iCue and reinstalled (Both versions of iCue 4 and iCue 5) and no luck it appears the new firmware (v. 1.01.8) coupled with me changing hardware lighting on the memory broke one of the modules RGB. I changed the hardware lighting to rainbow. So it’s now stuck on rainbow … has anyone experienced something similar this is 32gb (16gbx2) modules ddr5 5600 Corsair vengeance CMH32GX5M2B5600Z36K
  5. I’m busy trying a different psu at the moment and so far no issues at all. Yup does seem like a common problem with these ax1200i. Am just waiting on Corsair now (RMA ticket lodged) - ticket number is (2005806903)
  6. So the other day my PC just shut down with motherboard and memory module rgb lights lit up. Hitting the power button did nothing. Forced a shutdown by keeping the power button in , and when I chose to turn the pc on it would for like a split second come on (fans start to spin) and then off again with the motherboard rgb and memory rgb remaining lit up. took out the psu and did a self test and the led was green with the fan spinning. Replugged everything back and the next day it did it again (this time I looked at the psu and saw a red light on the self test panel) I have changed power cables (swapped out for the spares in the box). Even changed and reduced the number of power cables going into the PSU. Checked every cable on my components. Removed extension cables. Even changed the kettle cord into the PC. In iCue changed to single rail and also created a custom fan curve but to no avail. It randomly just either switches off and other times doesn’t boot. If I leave the pc disconnected for an hour or so and it will switch on again. Ran stress tests like 3d mark etc and it won’t switch off … and at other times just browsing and it’s off. Note this is not a new build logged a ticket. Anyone can help? Is it just a bad psu? It’s two years old and machine is not over locked or anything.
  7. ok solved needed to have fast start under Windows power options also disabled in addition to disabling fast start in the bios The cooler definitely has an initiatation glitch
  8. So when my pc starts and inittiates iCue, the lighting on my H115i RGB platinum block is all funky ... like its stuck and stuttering... restarting the iCue service fixes this but is now requiring me to do this on every boot. The lighting on every other component is fine. Ive tried the ff: 1. Reinstall iCue 2. Reinstall H115i firmware 3. Delay the startup on the iCue service 4. Disabled the iCue service from starting automtically when Windows starts, Waited a minute then started iCue 5. Disabled fast start in bios When iCue starts it glitches the profile for the AIO block ... but this was fine all along just until the recent last two updates been experiencing this issue
