  1. Ah...I think I'm beginning to catch on, though I'm still terrible at it. Thx!
  2. I can't figure out how to configure RGB lighting pattern for each fan individually, only as a set. Will play some more later. Meanwhile, maybe you can tell me how?
  3. LL fans? I swear before I added the ML to the mix, I configured them as LL fans and the lighting patterns all screwed up, but after you said they are LL fans, I configure them accordingly and all fans (including the ML) work beautifully now. I don't know. Beats me...now they work. FYI: LL fans ports 1-3, ML on port 4. Thanks for pointing out they are LL fans.
  4. It's weird, just a few days ago, I ran across an ML140 RGB fan and decided to mix it with my HD RGB fans on my 680X, and something weird is going on now. I experimented with all the fan type in the ICUE list, and when I realized it's impossible to mix different fan to the same controller, but now, whatever fan I plug into port 3, the outside ring doesn't light up anymore. FYI: The HD RGB fans included with 680X all have the inner RGB light, which surrounds the fan motor, plus the outside ring, which surrounds the outermost fan housing... See pictures. Whatever is plugged into port 3, that fan won't have the outermost RGB light anymore. Right now, the bottom fan is plugged into port 3. First picture is when configured as HD RGB Fans. The weirder thing is, if I configure the Lightning Node Pro as "RGB Light Strip" and enable all 6 Strips, all fans (including the ML140) work beautifully. What have I done to port 3? How come the outermost RGB lighting doesn't work anymore? Second picture is when configured as RGB Light Strip with all 6 Strips enabled. Any clues?
  5. Don't quote me on this, but I think you can swap the included fans with anything else you want.
  6. I was in the same boat awhile back, and looks like the problem is not fixed yet. I fixed my situation by going to the H115i Pro and not have to deal with the RGB fans anymore. I haven't pulled my hair since then.
  7. Sorry, I could be completely off (speaking blindly here), but the fan speed/power cables should be connected to the pump header connectors, not the RGB Hub. If your fans are RGB, only the RGB cables should go to the RGB Hub, the power/speed cables should still go to the pump head connectors. I don't own the ML140 RGB fans, so I don't know if they each have 1 RGB cable and 1 power/speed cable, or if they just combine them all into one, so I can't tell you exactly.
  8. Okay, not really reliable, been having problem on and off within 6 months of purchase. I got it as a Christmas gift in 2017. Rarely ever being used. Now, it's completely dead. Can't turn it on. Plug the USB cable in, the PC seems to recognize it, but it just wouldn't turn on anymore. The usual charging light doesn't light up anymore. I guess I'm going to try out another brands and see how reliable they are. Hope yours doesn't die like mine.

    Geez....no support here? LOL!!!
  10. On another thread (on the H100i Platinum) someone posted saying changing a pattern other than Spiral Rainbow fixes his issue, you may want to see if it fixes yours as well. I've tried it and no, it doesn't fix mine. Now, I'm on the Pro and am happy so far. No more crazy blinks or USB connecting.
  11. I went and exchanged the H115i Platinum for the Pro even though I love the colorful RGB fans on the Platinum. The issue just drives me nuts so I sacrifice a look for a trouble-free one. Haven't much time with it yet because I had to go to work right after installing it. Will update you guys posted on how it performs.
  12. The H115i Pro RGB doesn't seem to have this problem, it may be what I will switch to.
  13. Okay, now it's acting crazy again! I'm returning it back to MC tomorrow and will look elsewhere to other brands for AIO watercooling until Corsair remedies this issue. Unit is beautiful, but this issue is driving me nuts.
  14. An update: I went and exchanged my first one for a new one. Very unfortunately, a brand new one didn't fix the USB disconnecting problem. In fact, it reproduces the same problem in the same way. Now, I hope Corsair make it their priority to figure why it's doing this. I'm just not sure if I should hang on to this or return it for a different model or brand. It's getting to me.
  15. Yeap, as soon as run AIDA64 to stress the CPU, the disconnection comes back. Sometimes it makes the light on the cooler go crazy as well. I should return it for different one, just to verify other people's finding... Is it the pump/cooler or is it the software/USB? It's hard to tell. A new one will tell.
