memory issues with DZ77RE-75K
I am building a new pc and I think I bought the wrong kind of memory.
I bought the following memory in hopes of getting 16GB right away and upgrading my memory to 32GB in the future.
2 sticks of Corsair Vengeance CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10 8GB
I had issues with the 3 beep memory error and postcode 32. I found I could boot up if I only had one stick inserted (either one) but the moment I tried to dual channel them they would cause the post error.
BIOS is updated and I'm using the blue slots.
Does anyone know what is the most compatible memory if I want to get 2x8GB sticks?
Motherboard: DZ77RE-75K
CPU: Core i7-3770k 3.50 GHz
Memory: ????

There is no way to guarantee compatibility without prior testing. In otherwords, there's no way to guarantee that two random sticks of CMZ8GX3M1A1600C10 will work with each other let alone another 16 GB sometime in the future.

Yup your best bet is to get a single matched 32 gig kit if that is what you are planning.
Other than that you can look up your MB here
http://www.corsair.com/us/learn_n_explore/ for a complete list of compatible modules.

Wired and peanutz94, thanks for your reply!
Now I realize that I should have taken a 16Gb kit rather than 2 sticks of 8Gb. Two different 8Gb sticks can give me issues, althought they are the same specs, right?
So, if I want 32Gb, the best way to go is to buy a 32Gb kit?
Thanks for your help!

Hello everyone!
First of all, I'd like to thank you all for your support. I just bought the Corsair Vengeance 32Gb kit! (CMZ32GX3M4X1600C10)
But before that, I tried some configs on my BIOS and managed to boot with my previous 16Gb. What I did was increase the memory voltage to 1.650 and increase the System Agent Voltage to 1.000. After that, my two sticks of 8Gb worked fine!
And today I just installed my 32Gb with that config and everything went ok!
My question is: Is there any problem running with that config? I mean, does it affect my processor or memories?
(sorry about my english, I'm from Brazil)
Regards,
Rodrigo

Should not be a problem, just install the 32 Gig set of modules and load setup defaults then enable XMP should be all you need to do.
