q about link thermal probes
i have the probes hooked to the gpu and memory sticks ,how do i tell which is which?
as show below theres a vast difference in temps
am i correct to assume the gpu fins throw off a higher heat
tia
I would suspect that the one at 140 Deg F is the GPU but to be sure check the port it is plugged in to on the Temp node #1 or #2 they should follow how they are names in Corsair Link or try and unplug the one for the memory when the system is off and turn it back on

somehow i knew you would say this
this is a micro atx case and all my wiring is packed where the node is so i cant easily get to it.
perhaps ill try to find a memory stress test and monitor temp change
but thx for the quik reply ramguy

the higher temp was the gpu as i figured,i ran a memory stress test and link showed memory fluctuations.
the gpu is the only component i think that a cooling option isnt being offered for
of course thats a huge challenge considering the many configurations in gpu's that there are
