Default H100 Cooler - button press - died

So I built my new PC and everything was fine for a few seconds when I decided to press the bright button on my H100 cpu cooler to cycle through the settings. Pressed it once and fans stopped and lights went out. I had expected it to rev up to the next speed (it was on lowest level) . subsequent presses did nothing - no light, no fans. I assume it won't recover from this but I'm open to suggestions. Have tech support email in system but haven't heard back so trying here. I think I need to RMA it. Do I need to disassemble all the fans etc or can I pack it in the box with papers to return it?

Did you make sure that the 2pin molex is properly plugged in to the PSU? There are cases where one of the pin on the molex connector will get pushed out and not making a contact on the PSU connector causing the unit not to get powered. If you have done that and still the same then I would contact your reseller for an exchange if you are within their return policy. Otherwise, you can always submit an RMA request (link of the left)

Also, all we need is the pump/radiator and the two fans, you keep the rest.
