UPS in Australia are picking up my cooler from home (Corsair provided prepaid shipping labels, etc.) and shipping it to Hong Kong, no charge to myself.
All I had to do is pack up the cooler into a shipping box and attatch relavent labels.
Many thanks Corsair.
Nice, your lucky. I'm in Australia and did not get pickup or prepaid shipping labels. All I got after countless emails and 2 phonecalls was a buzzing H80.

I did my advance RMA for my H60 and received my new unit this past Friday. The new unit is definitely quieter than my original, however the buzzing/grinding is still audible. Is it normal to hear this somewhat, or should this noise not be heard at all? It is much less, I'd probably say 75% quieter, but I can still hear it over the fans in my case.

Default Disappointed

Paid $13 to ship my H60 unit back, after a solution was found, and was sent another unit with manufacture date of 1216. Well, guess what! The new unit has the same issue as the old one. Why was I not sent a unit made after 1227, or a "known good unit?"

Not interested in paying to ship this one back. It will probably end up in the garbage. Thanks Corsair.

1. Did you go through the normal RMA process or the one listed at the top of this thread?
2. If you RMA a recently RMA'd item you don't pay for shipping.

I don't have a speed control for my H60. The motor appears to be running at 4217-4233 RPM.

hey guys, this may be a dumb question, but I have arranged for an advanced RMA an customer support sent me and email mentioning:
*
We need 3 copies of a commercial invoice for customs purposes. You can use any template on the web to create one.

What does this mean? 3 copies of a commercial invoice? what is that? is it just the original store reciept? Im confused..

First I've heard of that. I'd ask them for clarification.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I received my replacement a couple days ago and got around to installing tonight.. this unit is whisper quiet. No rattle, no whine, no gurgling, no excessive pump noise.. works a treat!

Thanks go out to Corsair support who have redeemed themselves in my eyes and for the help here in this thread. Fingers crossed that this unit stays working properly!

And also, I followed up with support about the invoices they requested (from my post above) and they are referring to the invoices that they sent to me in an email along with the prepaid label to print out, just in case anyone else is confused by the invoices they are referring to.

ive read that if no noise crops up in the first couple days of use, then in all likelihood you wont have the problem with your cooler.,im sure your good so time to play

Got my H80 as part of a big order from ebuyer recently. Installed it 4 days ago and today the pump unit has developed a high pitch whine and a slight rattle :(

This thread worries me that i will just get another faulty unit if i rma through corsair. I feel like just sending it back to ebuyer and buying a normal air cooler altogether. Which i wish i had done to begin with.

the problem is that one of corsairs manufacturers built a batch of units with this problem and some stores still have some of these in stock unfortunately, however if you get a replacement from corsair you wont be getting one of the coolers with this defect.
air coolers work well but in comparing to water cooled, water beats air hand down,
this is a board to air problems and thus you will usually only see just that here but that in no way means these water coolers are bad as they arent by any means

hope that you're right :) Out of the four units now that I've had this one is the best so far out of the box. Its actually quietest of the four and provides the best cooling also.

My overclocked 2600k is thankful haha
