This is the memory I am using:
Corsair Dominator GT
CMT16GX3M4X2133C9 (4 x 4GB) DDR3
This is your flagship memory, so I had expected it to work (and it does) bar the Airflow Pro problems. Thanks for the quick response.

At this point the part number CMT16GX3M4X2133C9 does not come with Air Flow fans and they are not needed on this part. And as you have found these modules support the Airflow fan and Air Flow Pro but with this platform there seems to be some issues all of which are still being investigated so a solution can be presented. Or worst case would be Air Flow Pro would be discontinued.
But I cant comment on that either way. Only that is what is on the table.
The other fact to keep in mind is that Airflow Pro was developed long before the release of this chipset so when it was developed there was no way to predict what would come in the future and build it in from the beginning. But if its something we can fix we will.

Hi
I have bios 1404 on rampage 4 Extreme and it was just default setting when i install those units, but also i check those units on my son board with old bios and i believed it was 1306 and it works too
i made mistake first time and connect cable wrong way, I actually found the plastic socket broken so i know I connected it wrong.
For the second unit i extend cable cutting ends on 2 cable and solder them together so the unit can be the same direction and have the socket available for my video card
I found that only 2 rows work for 2 memory sticks watching video from corsair presentation on youtub
i use corsair CMT16GX3M4X2133C9 (4 x 4GB) DDR3
and fans from my old CMT6GX3M3A1866C9 their is nothing special connections or setup in bios
airflow pro lot # 10358900

Thanks for the response Tbox,
So to confirm, you are not running XMP Profile, but rather using standard default settings?
You are running same memory as me, however the difference in hardware seems as follows (keep in mind im not trying to compare for the sake of it but rather to identify possible issues):
Yours vs Mine
CPU 3960 v 3930 (Could be why yours is working, I can't see that the slight difference in onboard cache would make a difference unless intel disabled a setting)
GPU 480 Sli vs 580 Sli (Tried disabling and running single card - no effect)
SSDs - Run same SSDs as you, only off a Raid card, but use Single (Non-RAID) O/S drive.
Otherwise most things are the same.
Hope this helps RamGuy shine some light on the issues.
Cheers.

So to be clear for your issues you both do not see memory activity on the LED's and that is your only issue Right?

@ RamGuy,
Yes that is correct. No memory activity is shown on the Airflow Pro.
The inner two LEDs show Temp. That is the only sign the Airflow Pro is on.
Cheers,
Also note - after the 1404 firmware on the Rampage 4 Extreme, I tried restoring default settings and memory settings, but was unable to make any difference to the Airflow Pro's lack of activity lights.

Thank you. These are good info that we can use to determine if there is solution for this. I will pass this along to our engineering dept. for further investigation.

Well it's been almost 1 year since this thread started and still no fix or estimate for one! Anyone else feel the way I do about it?

Redid my setup in an 800D which I love. My Airflow Pros' are now in the garbage. That was money wasted!!!

And no one has provided us with the information we requested except for one person.

It would really help if the user or uses who have an issue please list your system spec MB and CPU and then explain the issue:
IE:
1.-Does not show memory activity?
2.-Airflow Pro not displaying information
o Temperature
o Activity
3.-Can only connect one Airflow Pro to Corsair Link
4.-Mechanical interference between Airflow Pro and video card
5.-Ect.
6.-Ect.
We suspect there may be more than one issue and this will ensure that we can get it resolved.

On 7/11/12 I posted my specs as requested,
"Ok one more time, Asus Rampage 4 Extreme, 3930k, 64gig cmp32gx3m4x1600c10, Airflow Pro shows post then only temps no mem activity at all,not connected to corsair link. not sure what you mean by mechanical link to video cards. Running 2 EVGA Classified 590's SLI in slots 1 and 3. This has been my problem since I installed them and joined this thread."
Ethier no one saw it or ignored it. I tried to follow the requested info as layed out by RAM GUY the day after his post on 7/10/12, so when you say no one responed please have your facts right!

I am sorry and I will pass it on to our engineering and I think your post was over looked because it was not in the format requested.

That's ok RAM GUY easy to overlook something when your as busy as you are. But for me the time came too cut my loses and move on. While I'm sure that these were great on earlier motherboards they just never worked on the RIVE 2011 and after so much time has passed it looked like this just isn't a priorty for Corsair, and I had other things to do. I still love the other Corsair products that I own which is why I was so disapointed in the response given to this problem it could have been handled better.

I totally agree. I've personally pushed this myself to our engineering team for them to shed some light but progress seems to be slow in regards to this matter.
