Default K60 Wrist Rest for K90

Does Corsair have any intentions of making a full K60 wrist rest for the K90? I saw a really good deal for the K90 last week. Thought about it really hard and decided to go against my better judgement. You’ll think all these problems commenters have with the K90 and not to mention how sensitive it is, (seriously some of these support suggestions are a joke—taking the battery out of your motherboard to reset the BIOS back to manufacturer settings for a keyboard is quite ridiculous—guess you have to worry the timings are set too high for the keys ), would ring red flags all over. But decided picking it up anyway. And with the new firmware update I’m glad I did.

There is one thing I absolutely hate about it. That is the wrist rest for the K90. It’s on par with R@zer quality and that is pretty bad. The texture is soft, but not velvty and plus it is too thin. It needs at least another half a inch of width to make it comfortable. Tried out the K60 at a retailer and love the wrist rest on that. Perfection to say the least. The contour and the width make typing on it a dream.

So does Corsair have any plans of making a full K60 wrist rest for the K90 or not? Would like to know because the K90’s wrist is quite uncomfortable at long gaming sessions. The thinness bothers me the most.

Everyone has different preferences and I am sorry to hear the K90 did not meet yours. While we do try to make something that accommodates most people, we understand it's not for everyone. We don't comment on future releases but what I can do is forward your suggestion of a wrist-rest on the K90 to our product team so they can evaluate it.

I understand everyone has different preferences, but that was a serious disappointment. The worse part is the K90 has that slanted bottom like most gaming keyboards that have an included wrist rest. So any other wrist rest you use is not going to provide full support up to the edge.

Please do forward my request to the development team. It doesn't even have to be an exact copy of the K60's. It could just be a thicker K90's wrist rest. One where my fingers don't rest close to the number keys, and instead on the ASDF row or close to it.
