problem with padlock2
Hello
Buy from amazon two padlock2. And I have problems with both.
With one, after several attempts to set the user key and key administered without success, because when you schedule a desprogram the other. Reset it using the code 911. But when connected to the PC, it detects that you connect a USB device, but indicates that the drivers do not, so this does not work.
There any way to reset to make it work or I have to send to the factory?
With the second, I tried progarm the user key in the footsteps of the manual and make it, but to set the administrator key (progarm, do not use the key), it stops working the user key.
And perform the test according to the manual several times and nothing. I can program one of the two keys, but not both at once.
I program the first user key, the test and it works.
While the USB unlocked, program the administrator password, but when the device is locked and return to enter the USER key does not accept it, just accept the administrator key.
They could tell me if I'm doing something wrong?
best regards
Edgardo

When you use the 911 code it may reset the drive and needs to be formatted.

Hello
If i know. But I can not format it because the PC does not see it, indicating that connect a USB device, but does not indicate that they have no drivers. But the other USB I have, if recognized by the PC.
I need a special program for the PC to recognize it and formatted??
With respect to the programming of the key, you have a recommendation? Since the manual is not very clear.
thanks you

First, make sure the green LED is lighting when you connected PadLock to USB port. Then try this: Start -> Run and enter: compmgmt.msc
In Computer Manager window go to "Storage" / "Disks management", select removable device (I assme that PadLock is the only removable device connected to your PC), from context menu (click right mouse button) select “Change disk letter...” and assign any available disk letter. When you finish, your PadLock should be visible under selected drive letter and you will be able to format it.
Best regards,
Adam

hello
USB is not in the disk manager.
Just see it in the device manager with a question mark over, inside the folder other devices.
Of green and blue LEDs are lit when connected to the PC.
best regards

Try to connect it to another PC or to different USB port on the same PC. You can also try to leave PadLock in USB port for several hours to fully charge a battery inside the device. Then, connect it again and check out. Drained battery may increase power consumption on USB port, thus insufficient power is assigned to flash memory controller and flash memory is not accessible form PC.
Best regards,
Adam

thanks for your quick response.
I already installed on multiple PCs and leave it plugged in for several hours each and does not work anywhere.
If you look at that comment at first, the device is new and it worked OK. Until you use the reset code 911, after doing so the PC does not identifcio more, I requested the drives the device.
Best regards
Edgardo
