Hi guys and sorry for the extremely late response.
Thanks for your inputs. I have been using my system in a state that does not utilize XMP for a while. Thought I'd take another crack at getting it to work and ran into the same issues. Here's my CPUZ details on a stable memory profile.. QPI was 1.2... 1.4 didn't seem to make a difference.
Basically instead of using an XMP profile, I just set the target frequency manually to 1600mhz and use spd of 8-8-8-24-41-2T with a voltage of 1.643 thereabouts. Not sure why just using an XMP profile causes the bluescreen crashes under load.. but at least the PC works.

Updated the Rampage III Gene BIOS to the latest version 10xx. Having issues where the IOH voltage is dropping to 0 randomly at times. Wonder if it's related.
