Default Asus P5W Deluxe DH + (4)CM2X2048-8500C5D running at low freq

Hi there everyone,

The corsair dominator memory I currently use is not running at 533/1066 MHz. (specs in profile). To what should I change my settings in order for the memory to run at 1066 MHz?

My FSB has a frequency of 1066 MHz, so it should be supported. (I installed all modules in a set according to their kit, so the set in Slot #1 and Slot #3 = Revision 2.10 | Slot #2 and Slot # 4 = Revision 1.1)

If 533/1066 MHz isn't possible/favorable, then what would the best settings be for these specs?

PS: I'm upgrading my mobo to a [P5Q DELUXE] + [Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550] in about 7 months, so perhaps it would be easier using that setup?

P.P.S: I understand that mixing kits will limit the capabilities and maximum stable frequencies, but I chose 2 kits that match as closely as possible. Unfortunately they are of different revisions.

Thanks,

Default

When you fill all four slots on that MB and CPU you may be limited to DDR667 or DDR800 and its hit and miss when mixing memory like that.
