For your room temps they do seem a bit high. My H80 running on low and similar room temps hit peak of 67-70-69-66. Edit: OC is @ 4.5 GHz, system specs under my name.

Normal temps are dependent on ambient temperature.

Also, when clearing CMOS, pull the battery for 10 seconds after moving the jumper and before moving it back. It sounds like a CMOS problem to me.
