  1. I have Corsair iCUE LS100 Smart Lighting with an additional 2x 450mm long strips to run the full width of my screen on channel 1. Can I add an additional 2x Extra Long Expansion Kit 1.4m Strips on the second channel to mount on my desk or will this be too much for the controller?
  2. Nice! Thanks for the reply! I think I shall treat myself to the new version. Not being able to sync the mouse with the rest of my lighting effects bugged me.
  3. Does the Corsair Dark Core Pro SE support lighting link in icue? I have the original Corsair Dark Core SE which doesn't but the battery is going and I am considering the new version.
  4. Yeah I thought setting them as intake might be the best option for air flow just seems a shame to hide the RGB on the fans though. I think I will set them as intake though as I have RGB strips aswell as the fans. Also is the top exhaust fans the best place for the H100i or is there another location that would be better?
  5. I have recently purchased a Crystal Series 680X I have the three fans on the front as intake and the 120mm rear and my H100i on the top as exhausts. I have another two LL120 fans for the bottom of the case but I can't decide if they should be intake or exhaust. I would prefer to have them as exhaust so you can see the full lighting effects on them but then I would have 3 intake fans and 5 exhaust. Is that enough inlet of all those exhaust or should I balance it out a bit?
  6. I checked the cables and I actually had one HDD on the same cable as the H100i. I switched it to its own cable and its been fine since. I will try it with the rest of my link devices and see if it flickers with them on the same cable.
  7. Thanks for the reply, I do have it connected directly to a SATA power connector. I will try connecting it to its own SATA cable, I think its currently connected to a cable with the rest of my link devices on it.
  8. I have a brand new just fitted H100i Platinum and the lights seem to flicker on the pump. I have updated to the latest version of icue and connected directly to a USB header on the motherboard but still have the issue. Are there any other things I can try or is this likely to be a fault with the LED's in the pump? I have uploaded a video here: https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipNKKz2Wnb5Ku2xIqoxkVJGWqpysAs6168BWSusxfmq2jZyX2e44NGcNO0RkAvvoBA/photo/AF1QipMpCPXSvBhP9djzGOA5ZvEfIYhPsGwZRcHs5K9z?key=Vm1KZEhlc1RGNGMxV1lqamV2X28xTUdPc2hEZ21R
  9. Was there ever a petition started to have this feature added to the dark core? I just purchased one without realising it didn't support lighting link. If there is no way to get it working and no plans to add lighting link support I think I will return it.
  10. Thanks for the reply what do you mean by pig tail connectors? Like a splitter for the GPU's to give two connectors from one cable? Thanks for the link to the additional CPU connector, thinking about it I think I have one of those spare as I changed my cables for white braided ones. I was looking at the spec sheet for the HX850i and it said it has 6 PCIE connectors and 2 EPS12V connectors. Is this a newer version of the HX850i? It looks to have the same amount of cable sockets on the power supply as mine so I am not sure how they add the additional PCIE cables and CPU cables. https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Power-Supply-Units/hxi-series-config/p/CP-9020073-NA#tab-tech-specs
  11. I am looking to upgrade my PC and noticed that the newer board have an 8 pin CPU connector and also a 4 pin that my HX850i doesn't have. Can I purchase a cable to add this in or will I need a new power supply? Looking at the cable sockets on the power supply I am not sure if I have room for another 8 pin CPU connector as I have all 4 PCI cables in for my SLI 970's. Has anyone upgraded to the newer boards and used their HX850i?
