I just bought the RM850i, i'm getting parts together for my first build. Me being a bit fancy spent a couple extra quid instead of simply getting the RM850X. Reading the instructions to see how I actually link the psu and apparently i need some kind of converter to convert an analog signal to a digital signal, and "Corsair Link" is now apparently out of date. Can someone please clarify this for me and offer me advice? Is iCue the new corsair Link? and is my psu compatible still? Ie can i still have the full functionality of the psu?

Hi, I have a predominantly Corsair build which is sadly restarting under load when gaming. I noticed the problem about a month ago, and did a full rebuild last weekend to try and help. That really cleared things up for a few days but now I've got the same issue. It happens when gaming and I assume it is a load point because I can play for c. 90 mins without restarting but once it restarts it can only manage another c. 30 mins before restarting again. I have logs of the temps, fan speeds, and voltages etc. and can provide any further info if someone can help me diagnose the problem? Thanks

Hello, i have a question regarding this psu, since i have the psu slot on the top i prefer to have the fan always spin even in idle to drain the hot air outside, for this reason i noticed that i can disable the ZERO rpm fan with a button. This is good but the question is, is this setting permament or everytime i swith off and switch on my pc i need to press this button again? I don't want to install link software under windows to control the fan. Thanks you if someone can clarify this point.

Hi everyone So recently I bought a used RM850i for a new build I'm doing for myself. I got a good price for it and it was used in a mining rig with another RM850i in parallel. The thing never got over 50% usage and the fan never even spun. The issue is some cables are broken and some are even missing. The person I bought it from said he would order new cables because as I understand you need all the cables for RMA to be valid. The PSU still has 9 years on the warranty so I just need some cables and I'm set. I'm missing: 1x MOLEX 1x CPU 8pin 1x 700mm SATA 2x 850mm SATA Both Corsair link cables All MOLEX to floppy adapter/cables The PSU is in perfect condition. Not even a dust spec on it. Which of these cables do I need for RMA to be valid in case I need it, and where can I get them for a humane price. I'm doing this to help the person who sold me the PSU so he can get a decent price for the missing cables and so I can be sure that I can RMA the PSU if something happens.
