ETA on LGA1156 mounts??
have just got an i5 running, but would really like to use H50 to overclock, stock CPU cooler came with i5 is tiny and loud.
any ETA on the LGA1156 bracket? official release for p55/i5/i7 are next week, so might as well release it now.

However, this is being done so that we can use the initial stock of brackets to fullfill the orders that people have already placed first, and before we start selling the brackets to the general public through the store.
Again, please be patient.
THE BRACKETS ARE IN STOCK AND BEING SHIPPED.

Unfortunately all I know is that when it becomes available it will be listed on our website. I will try to find out an ETA, but at this point I have not heard one.

Update!!
I have been told that they should be available sometime within the next week. Just keep an eye on the Corsair store ( https://shop.corsair.com/store/default.aspx) and they will show up once they are available.

I'd assume they'd be free just like the AMD one. Just gotta cover shipping. Since the AMD bracket will be coming with the H50 eventually, I'd guess the same would go for the LGA 1156 bracket.

Just ordered my I5 1156 stuff and want to get a Corsair H50 but can't do so until this bracket is here.

Doubt it, as they haven't been in the office since their last post :) I'd do what Ram Guy said.

I would suspect that the brackets for the 1156 would be available in the same way that the AMD bracket is now available, which would be a $5 flat shipping fee, but I have not gotten confirmation that this is the case. Once a final decision is made and the brackets are available they will immediately become available on our store.

They will ship worldwide, so there should not be a problem.

Picked up a H50 but..
Just waiting on the 1156 bracket now. Is it worth me contacting support directly?
I see Asetek already have a finished bracket by the looks of it ;

If you mean 1156, it was not originally listed on the socket support site. Unknown as to when it will be included (same goes for the AMD brackets) with the H50 in the box.
From the interwebs:
Quote:
Socket 775 heatsinks use a 72mm x 72mm hole spacing.
Socket 1156 heatsinks use a 75mm x 75mm hole spacing.
Socket 1366 heatsinks use a 80mm x 80mm hole spacing.
