Default New Forum Rules Discussion Thread

The new rules have been updated and posted HERE.

This thread is for discussion of said rules. They're pretty much just the old rules with some clarifications.

Yeah, can't change that actually. Anyone who can moderate a post in the forum gets the report.

No, hit the report button. It only goes to those who can moderate that post / thread, not ALL moderators (clarified above post).

Default Forum Rules spelling

Hi, I really don't have any problems with the rules themselves but, really, don't you use a spell checker before you post your text. Some of that text is really embaressing. Maybe your not a native english speaking person and hey, that's ok too.
I just hate to read misspelling in a forum's rule list. Its just poor grammer.

PS, I used to live in Winter Park, I love Orlando

Spell check finds nothing wrong with it (Aside from WTFBBQ). Fixed an acronym typo. Are you reading the rules linked to at the sidebar / top of the thread?

thats not a typo, its spelled P R 0 N with the 0 being a zero (usually) on purpose. its just a colloquial term for porn without actually typing it.
plus it is explained in the rule.

Quote:
# NO PR0N.
Please, no pornographic material or pointers to it. For those that don’t know what PR0N stands for, switch the “R” and “0” around and you will understand.

It is an absolute FACT that the order of the parts in a watercooling system doesnt matter.
This isnt anyones opinion, its a simple fact of watercooling

I'm more surprised that nobody is pointing out rule # 3. If I'm not mistaken, it's an homage to the 1991 Sega game "Zero Wing." Both cool and geeky.

Cheers.

At least someone read the rules :) Yeah, it's a reference to the AYBABTU crap that went around the net a while back.
