Question WinXP says Tracking Memory Leaks

I happened to see the attached event in the system event log. The text says:

"A device driver is leaking locked I/O pages causing system degradation. The system has automatically enabled tracking code in order to try and catch the culprit."

Anyone know what tracking code has been enabled and what it might do if it thinks it has found the culprit?

In the same second as the above event, my MidiMan 4x4 USB midi interface recorded 3 event in the log. They were all the same -- one example is attached.

The event says that no info is available for event id 54.

A couple minutes earlier Cakewalk Pro Audio 9 had crashed twice (while exiting) and it was using the MidiMan midi interface.

So I jumped to conclusions and looked up an updated driver for the MidiMan midi interface and installed it. Maybe things will be better, maybe not...

In any case, I'm interested in more info on the code that tracks down locked IO page leakers.

Thanks,
Larry
