Default Raid 0 performance

Hi all
Just add a other Force GT to my highpoint 2720SGL roketraid
That maide 5 SSD and speed is is incrising with very litle lost ove speed
1 ssd 536870MB/s write 573852MB/s read 0.03ms latency
2 ssd 938585MB/s write 1034931MB/s read 0.22ms latency
3 ssd 1388459MB/s write 1516957MB/s read 0.22ms latency
4 ssd 1740479MB/s write 1968964MB/s read 0.1,s latency
5 ssd 2176503MB/s write 2397934MB/s read 0.05ms latency

Fist ssd run 574MB/s
from 2 to 4 ssd around 500MB/s each for a total ove 2000MB/s
5 last one just addind 400MB/s for a total ove 2400MB/s

I have but a other one and i sould get wath i think is the limit ove this roketraid controller. Mabye because it the limit ove the mavell 9485 chip. Or as it use a pcie 8x instead ove the 16x interface. i don't now. maibye it could run faster then 2800MB/s and in the pass a benchmark was made with with old driver and firmware? As highpoint update firmware and driver since. Even Corsair have update ther force GT firmware. So test made 1 year a go is irrelevant. I never now if i dont buy a total ove 8 ssd to fill up all sata ports.

Will post again with benchmark ove 6 ssd wend i get it from Newegg

Sincerly yours

You are likely hitting the top end of your band width on the PCE-E buss or the card it self.

Hi all

I aim not hitting the top end of your band width on the PCE-E buss or the card it self. Just get a new ssd for a total ove 6 Corsair Force GT 120Gb

Ther is my benchmark with 6 SSD in raid 0 on my highpoint 2720SGL controler

2403889MB/s write 2724221MB/s read with ATTO
Up to 2800MB/s with a latency ove 0.04ms with AIDA64

Don't now if i reach the top ed ove my 2720SGL controller yet?
But as the pcie 8x, theoretically get 500MB/s by lane so pcie
8x 50 x8=4000MB/s!!!

Sincerly yours
