unexdesigns
Hello there. I'm planning to build my own new PC. The case I've decided to buy is Carbide Series® 330R Titanium Edition Silent Mid-Tower Case And the liquid cooling kit is Hydro Series™ H100i GTX Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler Here's what's bothering me lately. Case's 'Tech Specs' point out that it is compatible with H100i lqcling kit. "Not the GTX?" I've started to wonder. Looking further, I see that the dimensios also differ from the two lqcling models. :sigh!: So if you, dear reader, could help me out. Your help would be greatly appreciated ;)
Extreme MODS
hey dude try contacting a rep..like this dude http://forum.corsair.com/v3/member.php?u=104326 Grey beard.very cool dude..always helpfull.. jusging by the cases support statistics that it can take 120/140mm X2 in the top it should be able to install the gtx100i onky concern is the actual clearence from the mobo to the cooler....as this units rad is a bit thicker than the h100i...but that can be fixed with some small modding to the case.. example..is to cut out the top and get a rad mount shroud..or remove the hd cages and mount the unit in the front with the tubing coming from the top to reach the cpu erea without a glitch...many ways to sking this cat..
