I suspect the CLCP (CL-9011110-WW) the will replace CLCC/CL Mini (CL-9011108-WW)

  1. Looking at https://www.scan.co.uk/products/corsair-commander-pro-digital-fan-and-rgb-lighting-controller-support-for-upto-6x-fans-4x-temp-senso this is about a CL-9011110-WW and http://www.corsair.com/en-gb/corsair-commander-pro on the Corsair site.
  2. The description is Corsair Commander PRO RGB Fan Controller, support For up to 6x Fans, 4x Temp. Sensor, 8x RGB Strips and the price is £62.99.
  3. AFAIK fan Zero RPM is supported .
  4. The CL-9011110-WW replaces the CL Mini (CL-9011108-WW).
  5. I expect the fan control will be much the same as the CL Mini and it contains a USB hub.
  6. I suspect there are four USB ports, two in each of the two USB headers.
  7. Looking below I suspect the LED connections are 3-pin so it will use the LNP protocol and be 5 volts.
  8. I suspect there is a button below the small hole to boot into recovery mode, just like with the LNP.
  9. I will be able to tell far more once I see a SIV [uSB Bus] screen shot from a system with a CL-9011110-WW.
  10. I suspect this means Corsair will never fix the CL Mini firmware bugs I reported over two years ago .
  11. I wonder how long it will be before all the CLCP firmware bugs are fixed ;):.
  12. It was released on 23-May-2017 which happens to be exactly 3 years to the day since I registered and Corsair are sending me birthday present :praise:.

I suppose that the price will be 59,99€.

I wonder why it is available in polish stores, but corsair web page lacks of information about it.

Anyway, if I knew that this gizmo will be available, I could not buy phanteks fun hub and LNP :/.

will it be a rival for nzxt grid? Fans, leds, event and usb hub which is awesome.

  1. The NZXT GRID+ V2 can only control 3-pin voltage fans and has no temperature, LED or USB ports.
  2. The CLCP will control 4-pin PWM + 3-pin Voltage + can actually stop the fans so for me it should be a no brainer as to which to get.
  3. The only current downside I can see is that only CL4 will currently be able to control the CLCP and it's far from reliable.
  4. Given SIV can control the CLCC + GRID+ I suspect it would not take me long to add CLCP support.
  5. My issue was I have 4 x CLCC, am annoyed Corsair have failed to fix the 1.1.06 firmware bugs and am no longer inclined to give my money to Corsair.
  6. A CLCP is on it's way to me .

That site

https://www.komplett.dk/product/922310#

seems to be based in Denmark. I did a Google Translate and it says "This item is no longer in our assortment." which infers they did have it available for sale but now they don't. That or the translation is not accurate. Maybe this means they don't have it yet. Anyone fluent in Dutch?

If they'd release this or something similar, I'd first wait for some reviews and I'd watch this forum closely for possible issues. I'm not going to blindly buy a product from Corsair anymore before I know the firmware and software work properly and support the hardware properly. And the firmware needs to be able to be updated without any issues.

But if it all works properly, this would be perfect for me. This is exactly what I need and I could replace both my oversized NZXT Internal USB Hub and the LNP with this one device, and use it to control my fans too. That'd be perfect.

I am fluent in Dutch, as I am from The Netherlands.

I am however definitely not fluent in Danish, which is a lot more relevant in this case ;)

Dutch - Danish - Sorry, My American mistake. :o:

The problem with relying on reviews is that companies (and Corsair is certainly no exception) will send these out and get "Fan Boy" reviews just like all the GREAT reviews I have read about the Commander Mini and the Lighting Node Pro. I have read exactly ONE review that actually stated that the Corsair AIO cooling product under review was pretty good from a hardware standpoint, but was unfortunately coupled with LINK which is a buggy mess.

http://www.overclock.net/products/corsair-commander-mini/reviews/7428

That review then went on to talk about SIV and what a great utility it is. If I can find the link, I will add it here. All the other reviews I have read about Corsair Link related products say it’s all 5-star great!! Anyone who frequents this forum knows better.

If Corsair REALLY wants to bring this new product to market, and get the bugs out of the software and the firmware, and finally move away from the problems that have been plaguing their products for years, I suggest they send a production unit to Red Ray to review. His working knowledge of Corsair cooling products, their firmware, and Corsair’s control programs is beyond any product review I have ever read, and really beyond the Corsair employees who all to infrequently post on this forum. He also has a lot of respect from people on this forum.

It’s great news that this new product is coming – it has great potential. Corsair could avoid the type of problems everyone has had with the Lighting Node Pro and the Commander Mini by having an honest expert really go through the thing and make sure it works properly. I think there is no one better qualified than Red Ray, and I suspect that a lot of other customers on this forum feel the same way. If he is willing to do it, (and I suspect he is), you have a great opportunity to have this product be a success from the start. So how about it Corsair? Are you up for a “real” review?

Not exactly, they had the same thing for the Zotac 1080 Ti AMP Extreme before it was available to be purchased on that site.

Hmm - Well that is what Google Translate came back with, so what do I know. I can't even tell the difference between Dutch and Danish :!oops:

Just want to add this to here as well: https://www.scan.co.uk/products/corsair-commander-pro-digital-fan-and-rgb-lighting-controller-support-for-upto-6x-fans-4x-temp-senso

The cables included in the picture seems to confirm this point in red-ray's first post:

  1. I suspect there are actually four USB ports, two in each of the two USB headers.

Edit: there's a full description of the product on that page too, including "and 4 USB components", so indeed 2 per port.

I suggest they send a production unit to Red Ray to review.

This comment got me thinking as to what I would write as a review and I concluded I could write one without even having a CLCP ;):.

  1. I have used 4 x Corsair CL Mini (http://www.corsair.com/en-gb/corsair-commander-mini) for over two years to control my system fans. I found that CL3 was unable to do this but a forum member developed his own software that does work.
  2. The CLCP is only supported by CL 4.7.0.77 and later and this is equally poor software and I advise you to read http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=903472 and many other posts on the Corsair Link forum before you purchase.
  3. I hope that the forum member will update his software to support the CLCP. If this support is added I would recommend the CLCP.

Did you just refer to yourself in the 3rd person and say that you hope you update your software to support CLCP?
