Is it OK to charge it through the mains or can I only charge it through a USB port? Would it damage the headset charging it through the mains? Would it charge faster through the mains as well? Toasted Posted November 26, 2014 Share Posted November 26, 2014 If you are charging it through mains, you will need to make sure your charger output is DC 5.0V only. Anything higher e.g. DC 12V will most likely blow the circuit inside the headset. If the charger output is DC 5.0v 0.5A it will charge at the speed of a USB 2.0 port on a computer. A higher amperage will also, most likely charge the headset faster e.g. DC 5.0V 2A (smartphone chargers). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
