boo
hi, i just put together a whole new computer including a corsair hx520eu psu, after a little while it started to make a "clattering" noise. i tried to isolate the noise and found out it's from the psu's fan :[pouts: it's kinda subtile noise, but still driving me crazy. what should i do? since opening the psu will void the warranty, a fan exchange doesnt seem to be an option. Any suggestions? tia
boo
i just did some further investigation and it turned out, that it wasnt really the fan, but the little yellow corsair-sticker on top of it. it loosened up on one side and touched the fan grid when rotating. i was able to pull it off and out completely with a little screwdriver. silence, finally
Yellowbeard
Good news and sorry you had that problem. Is it possible to see what you saw with a digital picture? Thanks, Mike.
