swalker23
I love it, thank you corsair. I've owned many cases and this is by far the best one. Hearing people rant about the condition of their boxes and case when it came from shipping had me worried but to my surprise my box wasn't damaged at all besides some dusty substance. Taking my case out and expecting it I found no problems at all, no chipped paint and so far no scratched window. I haven't peeled the plastic off yet but by looking at it the window looks good. Only thing I can't verify yet is the video card alignment some people are having. The only beef I have with this case is no casters:sigh!: but thats just me. I'll find some way to make it mobile while on the floor. For your first case this a great job. PS. I bought my corsair off of Newegg and UPS brought it. I guess my area has good UPS service and bad Fedex. [From my experience atleast]
JohnnyNr5
Congratz on recieving your case in mint condition!:-) I remember Redbeard saying that you can unscrew the feet, and then go and find some casters to your liking. I think is was something like a single screw (pr side/foot) beneath the rubber on the feet. Check it out:-)
swalker23
Thanks. After your comment about Redbeard's comment I took a closer look. It seems like it might be possible, I will have to do some moding to the casters or the case .
Dallanar
I looked all over and the best easy mod I could come up with is here. http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=210&products_id=4407 which is the black Lian Li wheels. I had to order two sets to cover the 3 feet but they are pretty low profile so should work well. The feet unscrew from the case and the wheel will raise the case off of the floor but then you lose the filter removal so I am simply mounting the wheels to the feet for my build. swalker23
Decided to share some pics of my build. I'm gonna have to buy a new side panel window, was drilling some holes to mount 2 120mm fans and it cracked:mad: http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j37/swalker23/DSC00439.jpg Made a stealth bay for my optical drive http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j37/swalker23/DSC00441.jpg http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j37/swalker23/DSC00433.jpg http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j37/swalker23/DSC00429.jpg http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j37/swalker23/DSC00438.jpg
ljc117
Nice setup. I am still doing my case mod's and the 1 thing they could have done better is the stop vents. I am not watercooling so I put FAN's on top as you did, but none of the screws went in straight, and mine looks like *** quite frankly. Other cases in this class generally have covers over this section to hide the mounts, like the CM 840 or Zalman GS cases. I found these interesting flat head rubber screws which seem to work, and look much better for anyone having similar concerns... http://www.frozencpu.com/products/6137/scr-115/SilenX_Rubber_Fan_Mount_Screws_-_20_pack_IXA-FM20.html?tl=g47c111s484
