Kylimann
Hello all, Bought a Corsair VOID Wireless RGB White yesterday. At first it worked, but tried to do a firmware update(because it asked me to do it). It paused and aborted after this the headset won't turn on or light up. I tried to do the bootloader thing. It didn't work because the headset is not recognised by windows 7 when i connect it to a USB port. However the dongle installs perfectly and is recognised in device manager.(Pic 1) Only the headset is marked in device manager as unknown device when connected by usb. (Pic 2) Tried different USB ports already for both dongle and headset, but the headset won't get recognised as AV something or anything. Just "Unknown Device".(Pic 2) Sorry my windows is in dutch. Pic 3 shows that the unknown device has no drivers installed. When i try to manually install the CorsairGamingAudio.inf driver from the CUE folder it doesn't work. I've searched all over and i made a ticket to corsair. All help is very much appreciated!! Kind regards, Kylimann
Toasted
Can you try plugging the headset into a different computer? Is it able to detect it as an Avnera device?Have you tried repeating the bootloader steps on the other USB ports as well?
Kylimann
I did that all! no luck!! Thanks for your reply, i solved it by letting the battery run out. Then charging it and it would light up again. After that had some trouble updating, but now it works.
