Default H50 cooling

Hi,
Will the G50 be able to handle the QX6700 cpu adequately (130watts)? I'm using a V1 and am reaching 60c under load (video creation) and 40c at idle(cold boot)?
Does the H50 require the motherboard be removed to mount the device?
Thanks,
John

The H50 should handle that CPU with no problems. The unit requires a backplate to be installed on the motherboard, so unless you have a cut out built into the back of the case, you may need to remove the board for installation.
